Hey foot fans! It's been awhile since I posted some new pics, and I figured that there's no better time to do it than the end of summer when all of you are mourning the loss of flip-flop season. Must be rough to see all those bare feet go back into hibernation again

So to cheer you all up, here's my official barefoot send off to summer before I break out my Uggs again 🙂

It's damn near impossible to pick a favorite. Your feet are completely wonderful. Thank you for the update. Flip flop season may be ending, but that just makes foot spotting that much more rewarding haha.

Thanks! They didn't come out quite like I wanted them to. I was hoping to get a full sole shot, but the angle of the mirror made that impossible. I'm going to try it again with a different mirror and see if I can get better pictures.

You're so sweet 🙂 I wish you luck on your quest to find the elusive flip-flops (and the bare feet inside them)! Although we've been pretty lucky here in NY so far with the weather. We're creeping up on October and my flip-flops are still on!

Glad you liked the mirror pics! I think if I use a mirror that's flat on the floor, I can get better sole shots. More pics to come soon 🙂 As for my foot hibernation - it hasn't begun yet. I'm really happy that we've had such warm weather (in NY) for the start of autumn. It's almost October and I haven't pulled the boots from my closet yet. I've basically been living in my flip-flops since April 😀

As always, many thanks to my most faithful foot follower. You've bumped this thread so many times, people are going to start thinking I've got you on my payroll 😀 My feet have begun their winter hibernation, but beneath the surface of my boots, are still a nice pair of pedicured feet just waiting and hoping to be tickled. I just got a pedicure a few days ago to give myself a little wintertime mood boost, and treated myself to a new foot toy that keeps my feet feeling soft and smooth (the Amope Pedi Perfect). So, my feet are now summer ready even though they're living inside sheepskin boots. Just four more months until spring

Thanks for the compliment on my legs - I've never posted any pics that went much further up than my ankles, so I thought that shot mixed things up a bit. Every time I take another foot pic, I think to myself that it's the same as all the other foot pics I've taken. But you guys seem to appreciate them, even though to me, they're all the same. I mean, how many different ways can you show the same pair of feet? 😀

Yeah, it can be a bit tricky... try using a camera with a timer on it. Then you won't have to use a mirror.

Thanks for the bump, Luvs! I still can't believe this thread has lasted this long. It's certainly not because of my diligence. In fact, despite my shameful, sometimes MONTHS long neglect, this thread continues to live on. I know it's only because of all you.... and the insatiable craving all you horny, foot lovers have to see new foot pics 😀

Aw, thanks so much! Think you could have a conversation with my husband about how to love and tickle my feet? He doesn't seem to share your philosophy. Sadly, I think it would take blinking lights and foghorns attached to my feet to get him to notice them. But since his disregard for my feet is probably (in part) what started this thread, I guess you guys should thank him for not liking feet too much 🙂

The following pics have a bit of a backstory.....

I went to get a pedicure last week. I usually pick a color somewhere in the burgundy/dark red family during the fall/winter months. But this time, the nail salon didn't have any color that jumped out at me, so I settled on a color that looked like a VERY deep burgundy in the bottle. I thought it was a shade or two darker than I normally went, but I figured that it would be nice to change things up a bit.

When the manicurist finished, I realized that the color I had just picked was basically black. The funny part about that color choice is that I HATE black on my toes - I find it kind of depressing. I had a friend of mine request that I wear black nail polish once (he's a fellow TMFer that I sometimes run foot pics by to see if he thinks you guys will like them), but when I tested the color out at home, I couldn't bring myself to request it at my next pedicure. The color felt too Emo for me.

Needless to say, I was less than thrilled with this pedicure, but I had to chuckle to myself because my friend had unintentionally gotten what he wanted in the end. And since I know that there are plenty of other foot lovers who like black as well, I thought I'd at least make you guys happy, even if I'm miserable. So, I snapped of some quick pics (sorry they're not particularly artsy or creative). I'm curious to find out your thoughts about the color. I will probably never get this color again, so if you enjoy them, I'm sorry to say that all my future pics will only serve to disappoint you. It's been a week, and it's taken all my self-restraint not to grab the nail polish remover....

I have no idea how this crazy train to toe-town is still on the tracks, but I appreciate you coming along for the ride. What amazes me most is that you guys are still interested in it! Just a few more weeks of winter and then you can begin to bust out your flip flops.
