Way back in the day, long ago during ancient history (before things like facebook), one of the big things was actually seeing someone on a webcam. You pretty much had to be practically bf/gf before people would even dare show themselves on a webcam, even to say hi. Plus almost no one had one.
So a few days ago, I got a new laptop! First new computer in like 5 years (I can make computer hardware last far longer than it should 🙂 ). Anyhow, so the thing has a webcam built into it, just like pretty much every single new laptop that has been coming on the market the past few years. Coincidentally, a friend from here was on yahoo and was on her webcam (I had never seen her with it on before) so I of course did the gentlemanly thing and inquired... "OMG U CAM?? PORN!??!". Naa jk. But anyhow, we both went on our webcams and had a nice chat just out of the blue. So the thing I was wondering about anyone who dares read this thread is how often do you ever chat over video with people from the forum?
Are people still the way they were back in the day and believe that the second their face is put on the internet, they're going to be stalked and murdered? Or has web cam chatting become a more common way of communicating with people?
