Can we get a subforum for AI work?

I'm going to do it, I just need to find the time 🙂 It won't be too long.

On a slightly related note, are there site rules regarding using ai with celebrities? I'm not 100% sure on how US laws work, but creating fake images for a fetish site has got to be at least toeing the line. People have been making fake images long before ai, but with such a focus on it now and laws being drafted all over the place, it could get the site in a lot of trouble if a well connected celeb notices. For example, there's a couple of images of Taylor Swift. She definitely has the money and the legal team to stamp down on the TMF if they wanted to. Maybe it'd never be an actual issue, but it's worth thinking about, just in case.

Yep, the Take it Down Act became law this year. https://www.congress.gov/bill/119th-congress/senate-bill/146

Totally get it. Pretty bummed to have all my stuff vanish into the AI pile, but I understand the conflict. I put roughly two weeks into my photo sets, and even though I use different AI tools, it’s still very time consuming. Just wish there was a way to separate the works that have a lot of time and effort behind them from the glitched backward foot “girl tickled by feather” prompt ones. But I know that’s not likely. Anyway, working through my fee fees here 😂😭

Aside from any legal issues, the whole idea of these “real” ai videos involving celebrities being used is in some troubling ethics territory to my mind. You or your family would be upset by being presented with a very realistic video online showing your mom, wife, granny, little sister, brother etc.. doing something or being subjected to something they would never do willingly. If you think it’s harmless then imagine explaining to the wait staff that served you at a restaurant, helped you buy your computer or rang up your groceries that you had AI create
a video of them naked in a rack being tickled and posted it to a fetish forum. Just because a person’s job puts them in the public doesn’t magically make them not a human being. Handmade art and stories don’t blur the lines of reality to the average person on the street like these “real” AI videos seem to do. AI is perfectly capable of creating original images of randomly generic beautiful men, women, space aliens or what have you. Create your original characters with AI and have them be and do whatever you want them to be and do. Admittedly I’m likely very in the minority here and I won’t expand on or belabor this point but it’s my two cents. (Or I guess five cents since pennies aren't a thing anymore).

I see "KOBE" and I Open in New Tab, immediately. Of course, you want new eyes. And then there are those traditional artists, and their adherents, who resent those of us who might be enabled by the new technology. Time is about the only fix for that.

Adding foot tickling, as you did in the "Grumpy Waitress" set was a good idea. Unfortunately, the AI Image Megathread starts with ninety-one straight posts of foot tickling. That is in part because the thread goes back to a time before most posters learned how to beat the prurient restrictions built into most image generators. Still, it makes plain where most of the effort has been invested.

What's my point? Try DeviantArt, and perhaps Patreon. You would receive the validation of getting paid, even if not a lot. You deserve that, at the least.

I am guessing you guys are missing the point.

People don't resent AI because it enables more people to create.
People resent AI when it makes the time and effort behind art creation void.

Sure, there is also a societal and environmental side to it.
But we'll pretend it's just gatekeeping for the sake of simplicity.

And if you see a post you like, go like and comment.
That was the whole point.

The TMF has been around for over two decades, and we’ve seen several sub-forums (or entirely new sections) created over that time. Anime, Games, and Non-Tickling artwork all have their own designated areas. This ensures that people looking for that content can find it, while those who aren't interested can easily avoid it. Putting AI creations in a separate sub-forum simply achieves that same purpose. And while AI is advancing quickly, it is still easy to distinguish an AI generation from something created by a human.

I view image/video generators as commissioned artists that can create in various styles. They accept requests (prompts) to produce artwork. If they don't get it right, you refine your request and re-submit until the 'artist' produces a piece that matches your vision. Before AI, this is exactly what happened if you wanted to see an idea or fantasy come to life—except human artists would send drafts, and the process didn't happen in a matter of seconds.

On a side note: I can only imagine what is going on in the back-end regarding storage. It’s only a matter of time before hosting all these high-resolution images and videos starts to significantly increase the server bills.
