In the February 3rd edition of Parade Magazine (comes with my newspaper Saturday nites) there is a Q&A section, someone asks:

"Is it true that Carrie Underwood has never had a pedicure because she is too ticklish?"

Answer: "Once true. However, since winning American Idol in 2005 and becoming a superstar, the country cutie has learned to grin and bare it-- her toes, that is."

There is a hot picture of her with the caption, "Underwood: Overly sensitive underfoot"

The picture is just a headshot.

They heard she never got pedicures, and assumed the reason. I'm almost certain of that. It's probably true, but Parade's information is often just opinions and assumptions (often it's wrong).

Sorry for bringing back such an ancient topic, but it seemed preferable to starting a whole new one. Ever since the Parade bit came out about Carrie Underwood having ticklish feet, I've wondered what the source was. Certainly Parade didn't ask Carrie herself. Does a magazine like that just make stuff up? I doubt it.

The information must have come from somewhere; does anybody have an idea where?
