Catch 22

Hi there,

Some rather strange fantasies have managed to pop up repeatedly in my head lately. This time they were related to "catch22"-style situations. How to explain that... Like, for example, I would be standing with my feet apart and on a brick each, and someone would be tickling my legs or something. And I had a rope around my neck that wouldn't be very tight actually. But I couldn't close my legs because THEN I'd fall of the bricks and strangle myself. Or maybe just hang from my wrists instead. Strangling does sound a wee bit dangerous...

Or maybe something less brutal (but just as weird ;-) : I'd be sitting inside a cage. To open the lock mechanism, I'd have to put some weight on a device outside the cage (that I could reach through the bars). But there'd be nothing except for my clothes or shoes to use as weights and the stuff would somehow be locked away or destroyed by that 'weight-lock'...

So, basically settings where someone is given the alternative to cooperate and do something 'interesting' OR get tickled or tortured a bit or whatever. Am I making any sense here? ;-)

Maybe there are some artists out there with that wicked sort of fantasy? Or does anyone have pics or videos or anything else like that? 😱
And do you like those ideas? Have more of them?

But, to sasha_m's topic: Yes! I love that sort of scenario, as long as it isn't like the hanging by the neck or other deadly sorts of action.

There's some swell Japanese videos out there that work along those lines. In one, a girl losses her top if she attempts to manualy protect herself form ticklings. In another, girls are poised over a pit, and have to hold onto a bar above their heads, or fall into the pit(it's a soft landing), where they are then set upon by several ticklers at once.

I love the Catch22 concept with tickling. It might be neat to have some sort of device rigged that serves as a motion or sound-detector. If the ticklee doesn't keep still/quiet, the machine automatically spanks them or something.

I found myself in just such a position once, sasha_m. I lit on the idea of a standing spread-eagle with nipple-clamps attached so that I had to maintain a rigid tip-toe pose or suffer the painful pulling sensation. Then, two Mistresses tickled me from either side. Needless to say, I was toast! Ah, good times! :redface:

As is the concept... I like the tip-toe one. Haven't tried clamping anything on my nipples yet 😛 but might try that too. Never heard of boys wearing nipple-clamps, rick?? But then you might not be very mainstream anyway, being a male lee... Still sounds like a fun session.

Actually, at the time, I might've still had the nipple-piercings. In which case, she simply tied lines through the rings. It's been alittle while...

Not quite sure how to make it work, but it might be interesting if you could rig it where a person had to stay still while being tickled, or hot candle wax would drip on their rear.

From a sheer humiliation perspective, you might have a scenario where someone is forced to drink copious amounts of liquid, and then placed into bondage for tickling. If they wet themselves, then they are set free. So, they have to grin and bear it or suffer a nasty, embarrassing situation.

Yes, I'm probably in need of counselling...

One classic catch 22 situation is having a load of BNP skinheads hassling your Indian girlfriend. If you stick up for her she'll love you forever but the skinheads will punch your face in. If you don't the skinheads leave you alone but she loses all respect for you and you lose the benefits of having an Indian girlfriend. Such as getting free warehouse space off her father.

I can't think of any catch 22 situations with tickling though. Maybe the skinheads are TMF members or something.

Similar to the above annecdote about the session with a former mistress: I once wrote a short story where a ticklee was placed in stocks and lines of string were tied off from her big toes to her nipples, so that every time she reflexively scrunched her toes from the tickling on her soles, the lines would tug at her nipples. Kind of a Catch22 situation there, I suppose. :evil:

How about a chessboard drawn on someone's stomach with a magic marker, and felt-bottomed chess pieces set up. If the pieces fall over you start over, if you lose a piece you get tickled for 10 seconds, and if you lose you just get tickled. Not sure how the victim would move the pieces.

Any sort of impossible situation based on arbitrary rules will do. For instance, if she makes any noise while being tickled, she gets a timeout for afew thwacks across her backside. Or, on a similar note: if she doesn't remain immobile while being tickled, a similar fate may await. of course, no one who's ticklish could keep up their end of either of those bargains, so it becomes a foregone conclusion! 😉

I remember seeing a very strange cartoon, possibly from the 50s or 60s, judging by the design. A guy was strapped to a device in some sort of an "evil scientists" lab. The device was supposed to be part of some sort of generator, where the guy had to bend one part upward, like doing situps, to keep a generator running via a lever. And there were wires attached to his body giving him shocks when he stopped. I guess that would qualify as a catch-22 situation... And if you replace the shocks by a feather and some tickling, the idea sounds just that wee bit less deranged ;-)

Not sure the energy output would have been positive anyway. How much power do you need for electric shocks ? :super_hap Were can I sign up for studies of "evil science" by the way?

A lot of people call those catch-22 situations predicaments. Usually someone is restrained somehow and put in a devious situation of having to choose between two or three options, all bad. And the tormentor derives pleasure from forcing them to choose.

The old ropejock story archive had tons of stories with such premises. Many of them based on forced exercise scenarios like you just gave. The exercise is impossible to keep up forever, and when the poor victim's muscles start to fail the penalties accumulate... which makes the exercise harder... vicious circle. If you want to incorporate shocks into scenes, you can use mercury switches that force the victim to keep their body in a specific position or get shocked. Another cool way to use shocks is microphone-activated. Force the victim to stay silent or else they get a jolt. I'm sure you can see the fun in that.

Or, often the victim has to choose between two positions, each very uncomfortable, like on one of those pointy wooden horses. You have to pick between putting your weight on your crotch or straining your calf muscles to lift yourself off the point. Jeez those things look scary.

Tickling is so well suited to these games. For one thing, you always think you can take the tickling, until it starts, and then you need it to stop very badly. Forced to pick between tickling and bastinado, each torment seems worse than the other -- while it's happening to you. For another thing, tickling drives people crazy and fatigues them, breaking concentration that they might need to for other tasks or sustained muscle activity. And tickling makes them laugh, which is humiliating when they're dealing with a very distressing predicament. Cruel verbal teasing is sure to follow.

All of which is unbelievably hot. I'm running a, uh, scientific study. Interested? 🙂

I haven't checked ticklechallenge.com, but they may be the same(or similar) as a Japanese video I saw screencaps from where women would hold-on to a pole overhead. If they dropped, their tops would come off. I seem to recall some tickling involved, too.

Some of the best "catch 22" predicaments I've seen in fetish material involve not one, but two slaves/captives. The captor can run lines from captive-to-captive by their nipples, or crotch(teaser)-ropes, or other insidious means, so that if one moves, the other suffers!

I agree. This situations are pretty much a staple of my tickling fantasy. I find them very devious and entertaining. I like to see the victim with essentially no way out, but not without hope. It gives the victim strength to continue with the situation and not just give up.
