Catching up...on some tv

So I am hoping to have a little more free time over the next month or so and over the holidays. I would like to try and catch up on a few tv series that I have heard a lot of good things about but haven't had the time to watch as of yet. I've narrowed it down to a few that I feel would most interest me. In no particular order they are:

-Walking Dead
-Homeland
-Dexter
-Breaking Bad
-Sons of Anarchy
-The Wire
-Boardwalk Empire

I was just curious to see if anyone has any opinions on these shows. I realize there are other great shows out there, but please limit your comments to the few I have listed.

I've only actually seen one of the series mentioned above which is Breaking Bad. All I can really say is that it is the best TV shows I've ever seen, it is in its last season though which kinda sucks. Bryan Cranston is amazing at playing Walter White. You should definitely watch the show. I think that if I had seen the show a bit earlier I might have ended up becoming a chemistry major but oh well. Watch it!
