The live-action feature version of Peter Chung's AEON FLUX has landed MONSTER star and Oscar nominee Charlize Theron, VARIETY. The hot actress will get her biggest paycheck yet -- $10 million. Produced by Lakeshore Entertainment and Paramount Pictures, the futuristic flick has been in Gale Anne Hurd's Valhalla Prods. for more than a decade. GIRLFIGHT helmer Karyn Kusama is directing with Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi penning the screenplay. Filming is set to begin in Berlin in July.
Set 400 years in the future where humankind must live in bubbled city due to a killer virus, a female assassin must kill the government leader.
