Chat-Forum Username Mismatch

Hi!

I recently requested a username change, which was approved (thank you). However, when I access the chat room, my username still shows as the old name. Can this be resolved? I did try logging out and back in again with no change.

Good question. Can you try clearing your browser cache and try again?

Cache and cookies cleared and it works. Thought I did that before, but must have missed one or the other. In any case, thank you, sir!

More of an FYI than anything, but an interesting observation today was that I connected to the chat room and my correct username showed up, but after a while I looked over at the user list and it was my old username!? I've use the chat several times since the original resolution above and never had this happen–just randomly today. It's always been the same browser with no changes to configuration. Without even logging out completely, I reopened the chat room and now the correct username shows again.
