Chatroom problem

I'm not sure if it's just me having this trouble, but it's been happen since I updated java. Whenever I try to go to the chatroom, it keeps telling me that an additional plugin is required to make it work.

I tried installing what was needed: Failed

I tried to install Manually: Same result

I even try to check to see what kind of update I got: I got no clue.

I uninstalled "No Script" since I had that up right after updating Java: Turns out, No Script is innocent, and I even enable java too.

Is there something I'm missing for this kind of problem? :cry

Make sure that Java is enabled from the Control Panel applet. Apparently Java sometimes reports incorrectly that it is not installed: http://javatester.org/version.html

That kinda explains it. I checked in Java from control panel and I made sure that it was enable, I even checked in the box that was under that word to be certain. Yet it still fails on me. So I got desperate and decided to uninstall all Java manually and then re-install both 34-bits and 64-bits (Since both work on certain occasion like Flash Video 32-bits and Itunes 64-bit).

After re-installing them, I went to verify that it's done, but now it comes to the weird part, whenever I plan to use it, I get a message saying that the plugin has a security vulnerability and the only way I can use it is to activate it myself. Normally it'd be taken cared off with no issue, but now when I decide to go to the chatroom, I need to first get through to that each time I attempt it.

I can get used it that since I can go in now, but I thought I'd find it best to give this info.

Glad that you finally got it to work. The security message is a good reminder to enable Java only at sites that specifically need it, like the TT chatroom.
