1. Very long cotton scarves, just thick & soft enough they won't chafe skin. 2. (Or thick, soft robe belts, a combination?)
Of course be careful so they don't knot without a lengthy "bowtie" & long pullcord to undo it fast
so the lee isn't stuck in case of emergency, so you can always easily pull the knot loose...
(Not shoelaces, I doubt those would be comfortable, but the same idea for a long, easily-undone bowtie).
3. I also once saw an illustration of a gent (holding or sitting upon, next to) a woman's ankles, with a long towel entwined between & around them,
and he was sitting on the towel's ends so her feet were trapped. No knots necessary. Such a simple concept & so easy to undo.
I've heard, but never tried, wrapping small towels around wrists and ankles and securing them to whatever using zip-ties (without the towels, they would be too sharp). I guess old T-shirts also could do the trick as padding if the material were doubled up. Of course, make sure you have a sharp object nearby to cut the ties after the session. Probably will wind up cutting the shirts too, so don't count on reusing anything used as padding.
I used old shirt ties before..just makesure their old because they tend to get knoted and pulled a bit but still work well i found XD haha oh i also haved used silk scarfs like frenzy mentioned, their gd because their normally longer in length just as soft.
Used a pillow case last night. I was way too distracted to break out hardware, so she put her arms behind her back, I slipped a pillowcase over them (went to almost her shoulders) then she laid on the bed and I put my weight on her legs. It worked well enough
