Back to the topic at hand: When I could still eat cheese, brie was my favorite. Slice the top off a round loaf of a good bread, hollow out the center to the size of the brie wheel, cover the top with slivered almonds tossed in melted butter, and pop it in the oven for about 10 minutes (just until the brie is warm and a bit melty).
You could also just put the top of the bread back on instead of the almonds and bake it.![]()
