I've seen a longer version of the clip, and yes, it does appear that she dies as a result of the tickling. Which is a big buzzkill for an otherwise cute scene.

Batouw pointed out (in Chinese) that she isn't actually dead - she's pretending. Apparently she's the main character of the series. You can see her wake up again in the clip he attached.

Call me dark but I find it a hilariously odd way to kick the bucket. Kinda like Skalrag from the Red Wall animated series. He was force to grab a rope very high up, and tickled til he let go and dropped to his(assumed) death. Granted, it was a kids show so it took liberties, as I think he was just killed outright in the book lol
