Oh God--I'm the world's biggest Freddie fan--it took me forever to score a copy of "The Show Must Go On" on DVD. Such a perfect summary on the life of such a legend.

XOXO

I’m elated that you like it. 🙂

He was such a genius, so fearless and experimental. In someone less confident, he might have come off as this "freaky gay guy" but he was so sure of himself, of his amazing talent, that incredible voice, was that Wembley Stadium in the vid? Look how much people loved him! Wow. :smilelove

XOXO

i always dug queen, regaurdless of the "alternative" lifestyle of freddie mercury, he was an awesome and talented performer, as was the guitar player, brian may, has gone on to influence countless players throughout the years.when your music stands the test of time, and doesnt just "evaporate" after a one hit wonder, you know you have made it. led zeppelin, cream, jeff beck and the beatles albums have stood the test of time, back when people made "albums" and not just singles with 9 other "filler" songs on the album. i hope music will turn around soon, the "britney spears" era has largely killed music as we know it today. when i heard paris hilton now has an album coming out, i almost packed up my guitar and amp and called it quits. i have been playing guitar for 18 years, but now paris hilton is a "musician". yes, hell really HAS frozen over for music these days. oh well, at least i still have the '80s.......... :happyfloa :happyfloa :happyfloa

Paris Hilton and Freddie Mercury mentioned in the same thread? tsk tsk BT lol...i've always loved queen..his voice was super awesome, as was the guitar playing of Brian May..loved Bohemian Rhapsody...loved Under Pressure with David Bowie..

You're not the only one, closest I ever got to him was seeing Brian May solo...

Music hasn't frozen over, there are still many great musicians out there.

Does any one know when the new William Hung cd is coming out? And there's Clay Aiken, he rocks! And we just CAN'T forget about Taylor Hicks!!!!!!
