I'd say, in the classic stars category, Angela Lansbury (during her youthful heyday), Noel Neill (the second Lois Lane on the 50's Adv. of Superman), and Janet Leigh (who got tickled in Houdini) all could've stood some tickles in my book.

Virginia Mayo was a versatile actress of the (mostly) 1940's-50's. One of my favorite scenes (although I can't find an image) is when she holds her (apparently) cold stockinged foot toward a timid Danny Kaye and says, "Feel that foot!"
