Sometimes Storm, it's not what is stated, but rather how and when it's stated.
I totally agree that facts are facts, but sometimes there is something called "tactfulness" that should be used.
If not, some statements can appear to be more disrespectful than originally intended.
I did not hear the broadcast referred to, but going back to an earlier post, I was listening to a Chicago Bulls game and the Chicago announcers began berating the Miami Heat, the team's record and especially the actions of coach Riley. I thought this was totally disrespectful and meaningless, seeing as that game the Bulls were not playing Miami, nor is Miami in the NBA playoff picture.
What I found was this to be disrespectful, unprofessional and to a point, 'classless' - even though what they were saying was fact, surrounded with personal opinion.
