Ok ladies. Let's see if we can lure Mitch to this year's NEST. I've already promised to have the venue find me a ladder/stepladder so I can climb it if he attends. So girls- who'll follow! Who's going to climb up and pose on it barefooted after me? I want to see how many people will volunteer for this. How many will it take?

Ladies, let's have have replies ONLY from those of you who ARE coming, or thinking of coming to NEST, and willing to accept the Ladder Challenge.

This isn't a thread to announce that you defintely won't be able to attend NEST- I'm sure there's a who is coming/who isn't thread someplace on here.

We won't lure Mitch NESTward without a willing crew of lovely Ladderettes.

And gents while I value your support, and am so glad that you think I'm sweet, unless you are prepared to climb the ladder yourself in drag, or possibly a bikini and bunny ears, like that guy from a bygone NEST, (which would probably scare Mitch, and the rest of us, away forever) let's just have answers from women!
 
LOL If we confirm that he's coming, I'll not only step up. I'll also bring a stepstool along!

For those who aren't able to come, could there be a possibility of a virtual attendance?

...Maybe those who are attending the NEST could bring a said laptop(s) and those who cannot come in the physical - if they have a computer with a webcam - could connect with that/those said individuals with the webcam laptop(s) and (through Skype) could go NEST virtually? 😀 And what if they have a ladder at home? They could do the test on the ladder - in their home - with the webcam going and the others could see it and judge! 😀

Anyone like the idea?

Thanks for the thoughts everyone. I really appreciate it.

If anyone saw my "Scariest Time" post, they would know that this Friday, my mom is undergoing a screening to see if she has lung cancer. Right now, that's all I can think about. I can't think of anything beyond this Friday, and next week, and her test results.

I do appreciate the thoughts of those who posted in this thread. Thank you all.

Not so much, actually, and I doubt you will find much if any support from other NEST attendees. People going to NEST go to hang out with their friends, and meet new ones. It's not for people to watch us online. If you want to see what goes on, find a way to get there, for 2011 if not 2010.
 
Can we have our thread back, please? It's to persuade the errant Mitchell to come to NEST, (and we hope there'll be nothing to stand in his way) where every Ticklette attending will pose for an unshod photo on a stepladder just for him.

The reverse (i.e. stark naked on the stepladder except for a pair of old galoshes) simply will not do.

I was just thinking of those who cannot come. Some people aren't that fortunate. And I'm sure I'm not the only one like this. There must be more...

But it's just an idea. No big deal.

Fair enough, Orangevibe's question and repeat of said question is off-topic. Since she asked twice, I figured a simple response wouldn't hurt. Off-topic posts happen all the time here. Is this thread really so delicate? 🙂
