Clips4Sale and age verification

Like I’m sure many of you, I’ve purchased many clips over the years from C4S. Although I still have many that I downloaded at the time of purchase, I don’t have all of them (lost, changed computers, etc) and the ability to stream the ones I downloaded and lost was a nice feature.

When age verification hit, I decided I didn’t feel comfortable uploading my ID (in my case, a drivers license) to a site that I just don’t know anything about. So I didn’t, and won’t. Am I the outlier here? Has anyone else walked away from hundreds of dollars in clips because of age verification?

A quick tip to those who want to archive their buys before the laws hit. If you go to "My purchases" you should still be able to stream the clips that are in "Download expired" status. Doing so will make the clips available for download again (unless the clip was removed from C4S).

Personally, I made an offline copy of everything I bought (downloaded it to an external hard drive) so when the ID laws hit in my country, I'll still have access to my stash (no way am I telling my government what I wank off to).

EDIT: Sorry, it took me another read to realize that your government already hit you with those stupid laws @Toesheldback . If I were in your shoes I would walk away too.

I get the age verification nonsense because I'm in the UK and they've introduced a law that says you have to verify your age before accessing porn, but I just use VPN and pretend I'm in the USA and that gets around it.

Nope, I've been regularly using a VPN to access the site. Like you, I refuse to upload my ID.

The sad part about this is that all the clips "under review" are neither available for streaming nor download....

Yeah. The NCC policy killed a lot of videos and even entire stores (ILoveLongToes for example).

Yea but you'd expect that they'd either "review" the clip and put it back on the store or remove it entirely. Why are so many clips infinitely "under review"?

Actually it may not be the UK. If you live in the United States it depends on what State you are in because Many states voted to have verification on Porn sites so kids don't get on them. I am in North Carolina and my state did it.

That's how they chose to show removed clips on your purchases list. You won't find them in the store or via the search engine. And, in rare cases, the original store content might get restored, as in the case of TickleTherapy.
