Clothing affecting ticklishness?

Hey all, sorry if this has already been discussed in a separate thread, but I had a question for y'all.

I was out earlier tonight, and was fooling around a bit with a friend. I was, until recently, still in work clothes (I'm in pajamas now), so he commented on my outfit. I was in a pencil skirt, and made a joking comment about how I only wear it because of how it accentuates my figure, so he reached around and gave my butt a playful squeeze on one side, ran his hand over, and squeezed the other side. I was trying really hard not to giggle. He asked what my noticeable flinching was all about, and I said it was nothing. He obviously called BS and did it again, and the second time I couldn't hold in my giggles. He asked if my butt was ticklish, and I said it'd never felt that ticklish before. I think the material of the skirt had something to do with it...

So now I'm wondering if this is a "normal" occurrence, or if it's happened to anybody else!

Oh yeah. I have a few silkier nightshirts that drive my ticklishness through the roof. Plus then you have things like short shirts and short pants that lend themselves to more exposed skin....

I think its worse when your at certain places like parties, beach, and places like that, loose clothing seems to always expose some spots that people can't help but poke at

oh yes ... much much more likely for a woman .. but could happen to a man in certain types of tight fitting clothing ... or perhaps silk boxers .... it would especially happen in a slick .. like silk or satin, tight fitting dress .... a soft stroke of the fingertip will tickle a woman like crazy .... rather like having your feet tickled while wearing stockings ...😉

Ah, these all make sense I guess. I've never really experienced the material of my clothes making me feel more ticklish, save for nylons. I didn't realize clothes could take a not-ticklish spot and make it sensitive to tickles! Now I know what NOT to wear around you lot, unless I want to be tickled to death... 😛

but u know what also is affective, that the clothes tease u in a way. Like if i see a girl with some belly showing maybe some cleavage, my mind instantly wants to tickle her neck, sides, belly navel, right on the exposed spots, sometimes the knees and thighs are exposed enough for my liking. girls are such teases, right Miss Red and Wolfy 😉

I just wonder if my friend is going to mentally store this new information, and get me the next time he sees me in that skirt or wearing an outfit with similar material! And I make no apologies for being a tease, dear. 😉

Secondly, if all this talk about nylons can make some people more ticklish, than sure other types of outfits that might be made from the same type of stuff will... it's the fabric, not the type of clothes, so it would make sense... plus I think thin material does makes parts more ticklish when they rub on the skin...

Thirdly, out of curiosity, you said that it made a not ticklish spot, sensitive, do you actually know your butt isn't tickled? I know some people find out that spot is ticklish but I'm sure there are a lot of people that don't know if they're butt is ticklish because that's not tickled too often... feel free not to answer... I was just curious.

Oh, I know it wouldn't. 😛 I'm wondering what other combinations of fabrics could make me feel more sensitive to tickling, and how those fabrics would affect different areas...I'm thinking too much about these things too early in the morning. 😛

I'd try something soft, I've been told silk is a good fabric for tickling 😉
