Clothing affecting ticklishness?

I have found that an undershirt made of slippery fabric makes a lee more ticklish, especially if (in the case of a male lee) I have reached my hands inside his outer shirt and am tickling between the two shirts. I especially love doing this to my hubby when he is wearing a dress shirt or suit :blush

Oh, I know it wouldn't. 😛 I'm wondering what other combinations of fabrics could make me feel more sensitive to tickling, and how those fabrics would affect different areas...I'm thinking too much about these things too early in the morning. 😛

Well I'm sure you can find plenty of willing volunteers to come over and tickle you in different fabrics to test to see what makes you more ticklish.

Feather boas (especially the expensive large / long heavy ply ostrich feather ones) are wonderful in that they make SUPERB tickle accessories (as my lover / mistress and I can attest).

Rox, you are so right ... a ticklish woman can simply look at a feather boa and squirm .... put one on her .... it is perfect. :wub

Yes but keep in mind there are different types of feather boas (aka marabou, turkey ruff, peacock, etc etc) and some work better than others. My personal favorite (aka the one my lover and I have found to be most effective [at least for me]) is an ostrich feather boa (aka the one usually used by showgirls in Las Vegas or the Moulin Rouge)

We usually save up enough to purchase a custom super deluxe ostrich feather boa (usually from a company like fabulous feathers.com) every year (the one from the previous year is usually worn out by then). It's usually custom made too (aka the boa isn't separated via spheres which become tassels). The whole boa is just the middle part which itself is usually 12 feet in length.

It costs a pretty penny but dear god is the sensation INDESCRIBABLE when she fluffs it against my body (also, tying it around your lee's neck while her hands/arms are bound and unable to reach her head makes a good way to cause itching torment).

Ooh gosh, I don't even think I could handle that, as fancy as it sounds & probably looks. Baby steps, people. 😛

Wonderful? Absolutely! Expensive as hell? Dear god you have NO IDEA! It takes MONTHS of saving and penny pinching just to pay for ONE of these boas. We only can really afford it due to both of us having somewhat decent jobs. While I love burlesque and admire the women courageous enough to do it I also hate the fact that the advent / rise of burlesque in recent years has caused a HUGE RISE on price for feather boas of ALL KINDS.

Hey all, sorry if this has already been discussed in a separate thread, but I had a question for y'all.

I was out earlier tonight, and was fooling around a bit with a friend. I was, until recently, still in work clothes (I'm in pajamas now), so he commented on my outfit. I was in a pencil skirt, and made a joking comment about how I only wear it because of how it accentuates my figure, so he reached around and gave my butt a playful squeeze on one side, ran his hand over, and squeezed the other side. I was trying really hard not to giggle. He asked what my noticeable flinching was all about, and I said it was nothing. He obviously called BS and did it again, and the second time I couldn't hold in my giggles. He asked if my butt was ticklish, and I said it'd never felt that ticklish before. I think the material of the skirt had something to do with it...

So now I'm wondering if this is a "normal" occurrence, or if it's happened to anybody else!

Sometimes it's a combination of things...for example, my hubby now grows his nails out a little... Not enough that anyone would notice, but so that they have some of the white going just a tad beyond the fingertip....when he tickles me with them while I'm wearing something thin and soft, it will send me giggling like crazy! :roflmao:

Oh god, the nails. My friend has a horrible tendency to not clip his fingernails, so they get just a little bit long, which makes every absent/accidental graze that much worse. So, naturally, when he started his attack on my backside, it tickled like crazy, because he had the nails to help him out! 😛

I know just what you mean....when men have a little bit of nail, paired with the natural strength men have, they can both hold you there and tickle you excruciatingly too....and if you happen to be clothed in a more ticklish- inducing fabric....there's no hope...only lots and lots of helpless laughter! :blush

Thankfully, he didn't do more than just grope me a little bit before forgetting all about it. He's a lot stronger than I am, and this tickle-inducing skirt was paired with tights, so I would've been dead meat had he decided he wanted to have some fun. 😛

For your sake, I hope he further develops his capacity for "ticklish mischief" 😉

He's gotten me before, but mostly to get me up & out of bed (if I slept over and he needed me to move so we could get ready to go somewhere) or because I provoked it, and never for more than a few seconds. That's how it usually goes with my guy friends: I'll provoke them until they tickle attack me, or they'll "accidentally" discover that a poke/touch in a certain spot (read: pretty much everywhere) elicits a laugh and a squirm and will keep drawing that out for a minute or two. I don't know that he'd ever turn it into one of those "I'm going to hold you down and tickle you 'til you pee" things, though I guess I can never rule anything out... 😛

This may sound weird, but my feet feel 10× more bare and vulnerable when wearing jeans than when wearing shorts or boxers.

Nope. Doesn't sound weird at all. I feel the same way when wearing leggings with high heeled sandals....one just feels the breeze a bit more due to the feet being the main part of the body being uncovered....nothing like a cool breeze to get the nerves reminding oneself just how vulnerable one is, is there? LOL!:lol

Nails definitely help, simply because I find that it sometimes causes that extra friction against your skin by the fabric that blunt nails usually don't. I have some slippery fabrics that do this if I'm poked in just the right way, especially on my sides and belly region. On my feet I'm quite ticklish by myself, but certain socks/stockings just amplify the sensations so much more than even barefoot does, if that makes any sense.

Spandex and tights tend to have this friction effect, and so do some of those silky fabrics, like this dress shirt I have which is soft and really comfy, but the right pressure just causes the slightest touch to feel terribly ticklish.

Oh I agree! The killer combo is nails with a slippery &/or soft fabric!:wub

Definitely. Having my cheeks tickled under loose boxers is insanely ticklish for me. Also, I wear strapped sandals a lot and tickling the reachable areas like between the toes and under the straps is worse for me than being tickled while barefoot for some reason. Tickling under a shirt does the same thing.

totally agree with you on all this, i usually wear socks and no sandals though because i don't really like sandals lol i wear shoes to the beach xD. but yeah loose boxers or even tight pants make for very ticklish butts, and tickling under my shirt is the worse

I understand about this one. Thick socks make it bearable to be tickled in and can make for a pleasant feeling. However, some really soft loose sloppy socks when tickled with fingernails make for an adventure in tickling not for the novice lee! Acrylic material is my favorite. Also, right after having my shoe removed and my socked foot exposed is a super ticklish time for me. Is it that the shoe being on for a while makes the foot more ticklish or is it the anticipation of being tickled that makes it that way? Sometimes I think it could be the embarrassment of having the shoe pulled off and the sock foot exposed. It could be a psychological thing for me.
