Code words

It seems that alot of us have trouble saying "the word". i know i can't easily say "tickling" without turning red and cringing so hard i almost turn inside out. i usually end up inventing code words or sign language to convey what i mean. words like "sensitive" crop up alot
anyone else do this? what kind of words do you use to avoid saying "the word"?

Mmm, I know about this a bit, myself. My brother knows about my tickle fetish and teases me for it, so I always feel awkward about it when it crops up in conversation; I can't call it my fetish when I'm talking to it, so I refer to it as my "interest..." XD

yes! i always say interest as well, seems like the easiest way to get around it. that can't be easy with your brother either, how'd he find out?

I have a really hard time saying "the word" as well, I go out of my way to avoid saying it haha. "Sensitive" is my usual wording.

I used to have a lot more difficulty saying "the word" when I was younger, but I've become more comfortable in my own skin as I've gotten older. (Not quite comfortable enough to come out of the "tickling closet" as Yaqi calls it) but now sometimes it feels good, almost dare I say empowering to say it out loud. The more you step out of your comfort zone, the easier it gets. Sorry to hear about your bro tho. That would be tough to deal with.
