I was just wondering if they were going to remake one of the movies in this title, witch one would you want to see them do. I was watching Coffy to bring in the new year, and then today I watched Cleopatra Jones, and just finnished watching TNT Jackson. I think all 3 could make money if marketed and cast right (with unknowns in the lead rolls). However I really think Cleapatra might be the most marketable. After all she drove a sweet looking car, with a gun holder built into the passanger door.
Then again Coffy wasn't unlike the "Black Woman's" Death Wish. With Pam Grier playing a nurse who kills drug deallers (at point blank range with a sawed off shot gun). Ya gotta love that. In my opinion Pam is at her best in this movie above all her other films. Even "Buck Town" with Blacksplotasion king Fred "The Hammer" William.
TNT Jackson wasn't a bad movie, but it pales in comparison to these other 2. I mean it is hard for me to hate a film that features a beautiful woman kung Fu Fighting topless. Unfortunetly that it pretty much the hight point of the movie. The acting isn't as good as the other two, and the other fight scenes are nothing special. So for me Cleopatra Jones would be my pick for a remake with Coffy a close (by a hair) 2nd place, and TNT Jackson a distant 3rd.
Funniest then about this is that Pam Grier is my favorite out of the 3 actresses who were in these movies.
