coincidence or luck?

I was on the beach a few weeks ago with my boyfriend, and my girlfriend. A bird pooped on both of them. I've always heard that it was good luck when this happens, so I told them both to play the lottery, they didn't! This week I was on the beach and it was my turn, I played the lottery that night, and I won.
Now I ask, do you think this was a coincidence or just luck?
