So the committee has spoken and SMU who lost in their conference championship game to Clemson on a last second play is in and Alabama who didn't play in the SEC Championship game is out.
I believe the committee got it right, IMHO. SMU lost only one game while Bama lost 3. Yes, the argument can be made that Bama played the tougher schedule in a tougher conference. But I counter with if Bama was THAT good, they shouldn't have lost to Oklahoma by 3 touchdowns, or worse, lost to Vanderbilt.
So I think the committee got it right. Either way it should be an exciting few weeks of college football. I'm looking forward to it. Any thoughts?
