Re: Did The Government Or The Individual..
No one is disputing whether you are right or wrong. Besides, that would be a waste of valuable space and time to debate that. I've been in the same situation as many who couldn't afford to pay their debts. Guess what? I managed to pay my student loans off the first time and I will pay these and any subsequent others off. It'll get done-but if there was a way I could refinance and reduce my payments, I'd do that too. If my financial hardship was too overwhelming and there was a way I could have the debt partially or completely forgiven, I'd jump on that like Secretariat in the Kentucky Derby!
That doesn't make me some sort of lazy f**k. That makes me find hope in ever getting out of debt and desire not to go back there again. That's the part I'm debating! When I was too sick to work from the complications of fibromyalgia (from which I still suffer), was I a lazy f**k or was I too sick to work? When my son's illness spun out of control and I couldn't work, was I a lazy f**k or was I a parent taking care of a sick child? Which one was I to you, Tron?
You like to make a lot of assumptions and blurt out your opinions in typeface. Most of the time it really doesn't bother me, but at times it can appear that your "advice" is rather crass and insulting. I know this won't change the way you handle things but It'll change me and how I deal with people who simply don't think and behave as I would in like situations.
Neutron said:Incur this bill? Seems like an individual did. Most likely the debt was from taxes I spent my hard earned money on. I'd much rather see this debt repayed, after all I repayed mine.
No, I did not post with the intent of drawing a response. I gave sound, proven advice. So far as I can see it's fool proof advice too.
