Comedian Bernie Mac dies at 50.

I just read it on the net. They say it was complications due to pneumonia. I didn't see alot of his stuff, but I did catch his show a few times and enjoyed his "Bosley" in Charlie's Angels: Full Throtle. First George and now Bernie, and they say bad things happen in 3s so you have to wonder if their is another great comic we are going to lose.

What is up with all the comedians dying? I mean Carlin was getting up there in age, but who dies at 50?

Pneumonia is a pretty harsh illness, but definitely treatable if treated in time. I've had it o nce and it's not fun, nor is it easily confused with just "a cold." So it's really boggling to hear someone as young as Mac dying from it.

It happened on Saturday. He had some sort of condition that put "pumps on his internal organs" it went into remition a few years ago, and when it came back he had/got pneumonia and passed away.

dude that's a bunch of bullshit right there. first george and now bernie? damn dude!! i remember first seeing bernie mac in the original kings of comedy. a friend of mine showed it to me the last time i was deployed to saudi arabia. that was some way funny shit! that really sucks and i just read about issac hayes, too. hari, you hit it right on the head, death sucks when its too early.
