Comedian George Carlin Dies In Los Angeles At 71

George was going to be in town here early 2009 and I was waiting for tix to go on sale - never had seen him live and I was going to rectify that.............. Guess I'll have to catch one of his performances in heaven.
 
I saw his original stage show entitled "the 7 dirty words you cannot say on TV" back in the 70's and it was absolute hysterical. He was a brillant comic. I'm so glad we have videos of his shows and tapes of them to listen to. I also remember the first time I saw him on the Smothers Brothers show when he did the "Hippy Dippy Weather Man" act.
