I think you'll fit in just fine here, I mostly do the Political/Religions/Taboo forum now a days. However, it has to be said like in any other environment you'll get some of what Jericho referred too "at least some of the unsolicited stuff" but the regulars are pretty cool. Again I drifted from the discussion section but every now and then, such as this I'll comment here and there.

I like the playful style of tickling, really not a bondage fan (not that there is anything wrong with being one). Still you will find a niche that suits you here. I don't know where your interests are video wise, but I can offer some suggestions if your interested. As far as people breaking tickling down to a science; it surely has been.

I've found that even with people without the fetish it can be sexual, but as always it doesn't have to be. For me, it is sexual, but sometimes it isn't. And I don't really care for bondage one way or the other, as bondage seems to be pretty big in the community.
 
I too am not a bondage fan, I like it more for the fun aspect. I like seeing women laugh and squirm and smile (especially the ones that fight the laughter). So for me I can get my fix a lot easier I think than other members of the community. If it is in a relationship or sex is due to course I have to either do some tickling or foot fetish activity to how do you say, finish so to speak 9 times out of 10. Way too much info, but sense sexual situations are the topic that is about as specific as I can be.

I've been a member of this forum for about a year. What I've discovered in that time is that it's pretty amazing the wide variety of people attracted to a tickling forum.

The feet people are here because the foot is one of the most targeted areas, and one of the most commonly ticklish. If somebody is holding somebody's foot in their hand, the natural inclination is to tickle it.

The bondage people are here because they enjoy the helplessness of somebody who's securely bound. Tickling such a defenseless person underscores that helplessness and also causes them to squirm against the bonds, which they also like.

The Dominance & Submission (D&S) people are here because they like tickling as yet another tool by which to dominate or be dominated. These people are all about control. You'll find that slavery is alive and well on the TMF, and that collars and leashes aren't just for dogs anymore.

The S&M people are here because tickle torture can be extremely sadistical in nature, and if done safely (i.e. with proper restraints) it doesn't carry the risk of harm or damage that comes with the more conventional pain-inflicting activities.

Then there are people who think tickling in and of itself is sexy because it involves manually stimulating the nerves of another to evoke an involuntary response of pleasure.

And then there is a considerable chunk of TMF members who enjoy tickling for the nonsexual benefits. It can be extremely funny to tickle somebody or even to see somebody get tickled, particularly if it's well-timed for an awkward moment. I recently tickled a waitress at a restaurant as she was carrying a stack of plates. Hilarity ensued. If you can stand it long enough, tickling is an excellent stress reliever. For some it's an expresson of total affection, as in a mother tickling her offspring.

So we're really quite a diverse community here. Most are quite tolerant of the different views and attitudes, but there is a small handful of individuals who've taken it upon themselves to push their own views of ethics and morality on the rest of us. If you enjoy drama, you'll appreciate those threads. If not, they are easily avoided.

I love tickling, and it's highly sexualized for me. That said, I'm perfectly happy tickling in a nonsexual context -- that is, both parties know up front nothing is gonna happen, we're just here for endurance, limits-testing and fun. Because it's also /fun/ for me. I've had disappointing sex. I've never had a disappointing tickle session. 🙂
 
You're best bet, is to talk and get to know others and maybe part take in tickling with people you know and trust, who better to know what you like and want than by teaching yourself and by doing what you like most.
 
Well, I guess that fetishes generally are connected with sexual preferences and with what arouses you. That said, for me tickling is sexual 😀 But that's just me, some people probs see it just as a good way to have fun 🙂
 
Pretty much what everyone else has said, given that it's obviously sexual for me, that it depends on the person. Because of the way tickling is presented in society as an innocent act, we as children were able to grow into it, choosing the path of which we felt best suited our nature.
