Congrats to Harold Baines and Lee Smith

I'm surprised it took Lee Smith this long to get into the Hall of Fame.

He held the major league record in saves at 478 and is currently number 3 behind only Mariano Rivera and Trevor Hoffman. Those two gentlemen went in before Smith even though they had to pass Smith on their way. Heck, even Dennis Eckersley made it to the hall before Smith and he is almost 100 saves BEHIND Smith in total number of saves! I wonder why it took the baseball writers so long to elect Smith, but congratulations Lee Smith, you made it. . . finally!!
