I congratulate the Astros, their players, manager, fans, and the city of Houston.

After all that the city has been through due to the Hurricane. I'm thrilled for the Astros, the city of Houston, and their fans.

Don't worry, my friend. I was indeed disappointed after Game 7, but I has two truly wonderful experiences attending Game 1 and Game 6. 😀

Attending a World Series game is amazing.

I was at Game 7 of the 1986 World Series between the Mets and Red Sox.

Even though I was not/ I am not a Mets fan.

Going to a World Series game is a memory that will last a lifetime.

It was hardly the most popular series in the history of the forum, but I thank you for the vote of confidence. I wrote it because one or two people really enjoyed the stories.

I guess you did not read the end of the series. Mitch was going to divorce Naomi, and marry Cathy, a woman with whom he already had a family with.

The "creative juices" would not be flowing anymore, so to speak.

From a baseball fan with no horse in the race this year and the outcome not withstanding, that was one hell of a series. I can't think of a series where two teams, both 100 game winners, were more evenly matched.
