So a question out there for all those who contribute to the media on the forum.

It's probably just my need for accolades, but do you find yourself checking constantly for feedback after posting something?

For the first 3 or 4 days after I post something I check back often, but after a week I don't really pay it that much attention.

Yeah I pretty much assume that once a post is about halfway down the page it's gotten all the comments it's probably going to get

I post in the art forum, and I do check back for feedback. While I certainly appreciate to hear if people like my work (please don't stop with that, by the way lol), I really enjoy some of the critical feedback I get, both positive and negative. Tickling art is only a small sample of what I like to dabble in, but practice is practice and the criticism I receive I apply to my other art.

There are a few in particular on this board who have helped me to improve, which is really the only reason to do it for me. Also, I like to post things that people enjoy to see, and I enjoy to see their reactions to it.

So yes, I look for feedback and check back. Probably once a day until it starts falling to archive. I would also feel rude if I didn't respond to those who comment, as they took their time to help me and I want to reciprocate 🙂.

I just check periodically. Mostly I just enjoy reading what everyone has to say. My post I had some very helpful suggestions and they were very wise

Nah, I just use my many other alias accounts here to post a glowing tribute to all my goofy posts. 😉 Does that Mils fellow really post on TMF? I must have missed his few contributions...:0

It can be a bit disappointing when there are few or no replies to one of my threads - "What? How can no-one find my question interesting?"

Yet often my reaction is mixed with a bit of relief too. I usually check for people's replies with trepidation. In my threads I tend to analyse and intellectualise tickling, and I have discovered that some people can be impatient with this approach.

Generally you've all been very tolerant with me though!
