I received an email the other day with this heading and it made me smile. I can be a real simple butt, but I always liked using this classic old expression when tickling someone. Tickling someone's feet and saying shilly old sit like "coochie, coochie, coo," and "this ticklish little piggy went to the market," just kind of fills me with happiness inside.

It makes me wonder where the phrase "coochie, coochie, coo" originated. It had to come from a ticklephile from way back when.

Does anyone else like to use this phrase when they tickle somone?

I'm not big on using the phrase when I'm lering. I feel silly. I'll say other things, just not so much in the baby talk arena. As for hearing it as a lee, it all depends on the delivery- some lers can pull it off and some can't.

I can't actually remember the last time I used it. But thinking about it still made me smile on a monday.

I do

I use it most of the time, especially while tickling the feet.

Don't know that I'd use it either. But It does bring back some childhood memories of tickling, and does make me smile when I hear it as well. 🙂

I never liked it. I"m more inclined to get real close to the lee's ear and whisper "you're sooo ticklish, aren't you?"

I never really thought of it as "baby talk." I've never been heavily into lables.

I watched a tickle video a long time ago and I rememeber the adult models saying this stuff. Darla Crane made it sound pretty sexy.

Tickling makes me happy - period. I really don't care if someone says "coochie, coochie, coo," "tickle, tickle, tickle," or Rumplestlizskin.

It's all good!

Yeah, that would work for me  😱
I love the whispering in the ear, as both lee or ler.

McCoy, with newborn: "Oochie Woochie Coochie Coo!"

Spock, to Kirk: "'Oochie Woochie Coochie Coo,' Captain?"

Kirk: "Yes, Mr. Spock. 'Oochie Woochie Coochie Coo.' An ancient Earth dialect. If you have any questions, I suggest you consult linguistics."

I'm with BigBrown Eyes on this one.

:2poke: "AAWWW, what a ticklish little Rumplestiltskin." :2poke:

Thats bound to get a good laugh, even if your not tickling someone. And I've found that comedy and tickling can be a dangerous mix. :cool2:

Say what you will, just keep on tickling. :cupid:

This turned out to be an interesting thread I think! It never even ocurred to me that this would be thought of as childish and my IQ is above average.

How about my ticklish little panda nose, or my little mush, mush...j/k!

My ex-g/f used to tickle me and say all kinds of goofy spit while she was doing it! I loved it all no matter what she said! She was at least half a ticklephile, but maybe less than three-fourths.

Different viewpoints are great. The whispering sounds like a lot of fun too! I think I need to go dump a glass of water over my head again.

That would be 5/8 ticklephile then. 😀

I don't think one can be considered an all-around ler if one is not willing to use whatever taunts work best to get the lee going. What difference does it make if YOU think its goofy, if it drives her nuts?

Personally, I tend to use more sinister taunts with a big focus on the psychological manipulation of the lee's feeling of vulnerability. And, that may ocassionally include "Coochie Coochie," but I do it in a low, sinister voice, usually followed by "MooWAA HAA HAA HAA! :evilha: :evilha:

Like I said...whatever works!

Looks like you put your finger on it, Shadow! She was about 5/8th a tickephile. I never could figure her out.

Coochie coochie coo is the ultimate in lame![/QUOTE}

Amen! It just sounds dumb in my opinion. For that matter, and I've been debating if I wanted to post a thread about this, "baby talk," when tickling someone just sounds, well...childish! I view it as a sexual thing so maybe not wanting to equate child-like innocent tickles with something more erotic could be the reason, but it all just sounds so stupid.

Just my thoughts,
Dave

That cracks me up! On a forum where tickle scenes from SpongeBob Squarepants" are discussed, you guys are going tell me about the "ultimate in lame." 🙄

See now Shadow, that would turn my giggling into complete and uder laughter with no breath, as it is the evil laugh thing makes me laugh just from hearing it. i love that muhahahaha thing, it can make anyone laugh if used with a good dracula accent.

The whispering in the ear thing sends chills all over my body not just down my spine, im weird that way.

U know, everytime i post a reply or thread i always let something slip that is going to one day turn around and bite me in the ass, i got to stop doin that!

Ow ya, and when u said Rumplestiltskin i started to laugh, it is almost as bad as a guy i went to school with, his name is Kalito Montoya Maximillian The Third, and then there is this scene from a movie where a nun is trying to get the attention from these kids and they wont listen so she comes out with and i quote "Missy me bonnie belly dominos beliss alis dominos" i loved that movie. One of my friends almost killed me when she came out with Rumtumteabumbum, i dont know i guess those little saying get to me.They make me smile and like i said if they r said in an accent u might as well call me gone!

:justlips:Riva:justlips:

That phrase makes me smile also. I think it probably started out with tickling little kids more than with tickling babies.

You're absolutely right, especially when you consider how UN-stupid tying other adults up and tickling them sounds. ROFL!

I'd say it if the 'lee really got off on it, and...

IMHO Darla Crane could make the alphabet sound sexy!!!

Well i happen to think cartoon tickling is lame too! :ranty:

I happen to love this phrase if I'm the lee... I admit it feels kinda silly saying it as the ler, but I do find it an exciting part of tickle play - the banter and teasing, who wouldn't? :bouncybou
