In all forms of entertainment the villains sell the tickets. It doesn't matter if it is the fictional world of Film, the real world of Sport, or the 50/50 mix of Sports Entertainment (aka pro wrestling). Who would Batman be without the Joker? What would hockey have been without Montreal vs Toronto? What would have happened to Hulkamania if Roddy Piper hadn't slapped Cyndi Lauper?

So I ask you this, will Dwyane Wade, LaBron James, and Chris Bosh make like the Four Horsemen of the old NWA and bring in fans who will want to see them lose, or will they be more like nWo of WCW and kill any interest because they are such a strong unit their is no way to beat them?

I don't know much about Basket Ball but if the NBA plays it right they could market this into a million $ David and Goliath saga.

I think you may be right. I wouldnt be suprised to see Lebron James booed viciously in many NBA venues, at least this year. And I dont think the heat, although very talented now, necessarily have a lock on NBA titles for years to come.

I may start following the NBA just because of this. I do hope the Heat win a title this season, other wise they will be a laughing stock. If they win a title or even two, and don't fall apart from ego implotion. If they can keep it together for a good run it could make for (as the wresting folk say) great angle.
