Couture vs. Lesnar Nov 15!

That's right. After only 3 pro fights, Brock Lesnar has been granted a shot at the UFC Heavyweight title against Randy Couture. Here's some interesting facts:

Lesnar has three pro fights, has never fought another wrestler (a kickboxer, jiu jitsu fighter and striker so far).

Couture is something like 45 years old now, will be giving up something like 40lbs to Lesnar, and hasn't competed in over a year. He also has more experience in his left hand than Lesnar has in his whole body in MMA.

This is literally Crafty Veteran vs. HotShot Rookie. This is also the biggest fight for the UFC Heavyweight belt since Sylvia vs. Arlovski 2 (or earlier).

I'm psyched for this fight.My only gripe with this match is it kinda kicks Minotauro to the side and I would rather see him fight Couture.

As far as the fight, I think if Couture can stay off of his back he should be alright.He has never been great in that department and Brock is a beast to be on top of you.

I'm pulling for Couture for one,because I am not a Lesnar fan,two because I want to see Couture/Noguiera.Any other thoughts?

They're similar styles, which will be an interesting match up to say the least.

I won't make a solid prediction just yet as to a winner. Suffice it to say this:

Either Couture will catch Lesnar with something, standing up or a submission, and that'll be it. Or Lesnar will get on top of Couture and pound him until Coutures head looks like a freshly-dropped Jack-O-Lantern the day after Halloween.

Either way, it's not going the distance.

Part of me hopes lesnar wins, but I think couture will dominate.
