Um interesting topic to say the least. I think everyone has valid points on this. I agree that it would really depend on the person.

For my personally I have to say that using a device like that so the person cannot move their mouth, that's really sadistic but to each their own I guess and it sounds painful. you know having your mouth open like that for who knows how long LOL

I don't know about anyone else but some people gag easily so that probably wouldn't be ideal for them. perhaps a sonic or electric toothbrush might be just as effective for that area???

Again though everyone has valid points and opinions.

I agree with crystal_Light. it is a wierd feeling.
