Cucking or not?

Let's say for this relationship the wife and husband are happily married. The husband encourages and supports his wife in seeking play with others. The wife isn't seeking another partner to be with relationship wise but just other people to have sessions with. The husband doesn't actively seek play outside of the relationship. Would this still be considered a cuck-tickling relationship even though there's no humiliation or degrading involved?

If everyone's on board, and it's all consensual, why bother putting a label on it?

Does there have to be humiliation or degrading, etc for it to be considered a cuck? I always thought that simply watching you S.O. With someone else, whether sexually or just tickling, was considered a cuck?

I had assumed that cucking involved some form of humility or degrading in it.

While hotwifing, swinging, and open/poly just simply involved playing with other people.

Labels are helpful, but seldom so black and white, especially in the kink world. Even most standard dictionaries reflect the fluidity of language because the speaking population changes how they use the words regularly. So there's no real kink terminology police, and if there were, I'd not trust them! My understanding is that humiliation tends to go hand-in-hand with cuckolding, but is not necessarily an inherent part of it. It's much like how many might make the assumption that the tickling fetish involves people being tied up and tickled intensely. It often does, but doesn't have to involve bondage or intensity. I think FetLife had a pretty good basic definition that might help with the general idea around that. In the kink context, I feel like the big factor is whether the man is getting off to it or not. If he's not getting off to it, I think one of the many other facets of open dynamics is a better fit.
