Is it possible to turn someone who isnt ticklish into a ticklish person?

That wouldn't make them "not ticklish", they would only not know that they are ticklish. Someone who is not ticklish...is not ticklish. It's that simple.

In my experience, ticklishness has a lot to do with feelings of vulnerability, level of threat. An experienced ler can take psychological advantage of that and coax ticklishness out of somebody who previously never reacted to it.

I've known people who absolutely weren't ticklish at all, except for maybe that one small spot. Once that spot has been found and exploited, the walls come crumbling down, and they are ticklish everywhere.

So yes, it's absolutely possible.

If they're truly not ticklish, then no, you can't "turn" them ticklish.

If they just SAY or THINK they're not ticklish because they haven't been properly tickled/ tickled in the right spot, that's not the same thing as being not ticklish. I just means they didn't know they were.

If they're honestly not ticklish (I've met 1 person in my tickling life like that. Absolutely nothing. Not even a giggle.), then there's nothing you can do. But don't give up easy. Most people who "aren't" ticklish just have to be tickled right/on the right spot.

Yeh its a no, you would never have made them ticklish, you would have just shown they were mistaken.

Its possible for someone who isnt ticklish to become ticklish altho I read this so it may not be accurate, I heard that someone who had never been ticklish had some serious damage do their leg and after the operation they had to have for it they began to be ticklish in an area on the foot of that leg. so I suppose if thats true then the surgeon made a person ticklish who wasnt before... but not on purpose 😛

Is that surgical procedure covered by insurance or the dreaded elective surgery? Elective surgery, hey we can get rid of those bums in Washington DC. I agree with Rhiannon and TicklemyFancy. Think about any 'lee you know who IS ticklish in some spots, BUT NOT TICKLISH in a certain usually ticklish spot or spots. That lee has been tickled correctly, knows how it feels, has been tickled recently, etc,. That lee is still NOT ticklish in some spots and cannot "just become" ticklish there.
