What music have you folks been listening to lately?
I've really been hooked on Shadows Fall and Slayer.

My tastes in music are so varied. I might listen to Classical, Big Band and Folk, Bluegrass or Classic C&W all in the same day, with some Classic Rock thrown in for good measure. Not to mention Blues and Jazz. I mix things up a lot. 🙂

I've recently started a love affair with Jazz music, specifically Jazz-fusion at the moment. A lot of my music experiences come from hip hop samples and trying to locate the original artist/track. I've discovered so much great music it's a real joy just to try track it all down.

Ive been listening to ia lot of guitar instrumental stuff lately Andy Timmons, Eric Johnson, Marco Sfogli and the like . Ive also rediscovered my love of Marillion and 80's Hair bands.

Ive not heard much Satriani apart from " Satch boogie" and a few others .Steve Vai im convinced is from another world I was blown away when I first heard "The attitude song" years ago, then when I saw him simultaneously play all three necks of his guitar in a G3 video ( with Satriani and Yngwie Malmsteen ) my head nearly exploded.
