What do you all think of cyber tickling? I havent done it much until recently, but I find it to be quite fun... with the right people, of course. Are there certain people you talk to on the forum you wouldn't ever cyber tickle with? I know I have a few rude ones that will never catch me, but that's just me. Just wondering...

I think it's ok. Like, I won't go looking for people to cybertickle with them, but if I meet someone through here, me might cyber now and then.

It's not that I wont cyber tickle, its not the same as the actual contact tickling

For some people it's really all that can be gotten, weather due to distance, isolation (like they feel they are the only ones with the fetish in their area) or they are coming to terms with their fetish in a controled area. It's not for everyone but it's there so feel free to indulge all who wish.

This is one of those rare issues in which I can completely understand and relate to both sides, and for this reason I remain completely on the fence about it.

I can understand why many think it's lame. Tickling is a sensation, the act of touching somebody in a provocative way, or being touched in such a way as to cause involuntary responses. No amount of typing hahahaha will ever bring about those sensations. By it's very nature and definition, tickling is a physical thing. It's silly to even consider that tickling can happen by seeing and typing words on a computer screen.

However I can also understand why many others enjoy cyber tickling. For many, it's all about the intent or desire. Even if I'm not being tickled, there's a level of excitement in just knowing a woman WANTS to tickle me, or is thinking about tickling me, or even the simple fact that she would definitely be tickling me in real life if she could. Cyber tickling helps to demonstrate such intentions and play into the roles of both Ler and Lee.

I do love doing it, as my girl is on the other sde of the country, and I don't get out often enough

I too can understand both sides.

There's an old saying; "Talking about music is the same as dancing about a painting." In other words, some things just have to be experienced to have value. Certainly, this fetish and most others can be categorized as topics requiring activity that differs from typing.

However, it can be fun and arousing to TALK about taking part in sensual activities, so the fact that many people enjoy TYPING about them is no surprise. For many people who do not have the opportunity to actually pursue this fetish, cybertickling may be the only outlet they have left for self expression.

For me: I'll chat about these happy subjects anytime, but I'd MUCH rather be doing them, thank you.

What Drew said. (Okay, gotta admit I'm responding partly because: "How often am I going to say that?" 🙂 )

I don't think anyone would choose cyber-tickling over real tickling, all other things being equal. So "Lame" as compared to real tickling? Yeah, probably so. But RL tickling isn't available to everyone. In cases like that (like mine) cyber-tickling can be engaging and arousing.

Cyber tickling is good to gauge what a tickler is and or would be like in real life.

I like cybering... its much fun, and safer than a real life experience, of course nothing can be compared to the feeling of being real life tickled! :2poke: and its kind of a mysterious and exciting. Well, its just my opinion

I really don't know...I've never tried it but I fail to see the attraction to it...i dunno

yes!

i thinks its fun! I had a great cyber tickle buddy but she works nights now so we rarely meet up.

i would

Hello Allison, i would like to cyber tickle with you. I like playful tickling. I will respect you limits. It should be fun for both. I love the female navel, all shapes & sizes.Send me a message if you like. Hope to talk to you soon.

Cybertickling is okay for me now, because real life tickling is just not possible at the moment. Hopefully, this will change in the future, but for now, at least I can use my imagination interactively the few times I do cybertickle.

Imagine...

Of course, the consensus that REALLY tickling or being tickled is best is undeniable.
But, those of us who relish our facility with tickling AND the written word can find cyber tickling a challenge to the imagination and a stimulant to our pleasure centers nonetheless. With a playful and creative cyber partner, cyber tickling is AT least as much fun, say, as a video game, another virtual vicarious pleasure.
Can't enjoy the real thing at the moment? A bit of cyber is a harmless diversion...

I find it to be stimulating, and enjoyable. I don't believe that anything in that statement implies I prefer it over the real thing, but there are one or two people I've cybered with who I found to be creative and engaging... and it's safe fun, with someone intriguing, when I'm up at 1 in the morning with nothing else to do.

Certain scenes can also be fairly difficult to perform in reality... but that's an entirely separate issue.

I admittedly find myself completely disgusted when I sit in chat and see two people posting 'tikles u mor' and 'i tic kle hardur!' over and over and over again... and then there's 'solo cybering.' "I strap the sonicare brushes to your feet!" whereupon the target individual proceeds to cyber with... themselves... for the next half hour or so, 'laughing' their heads off when nobody else is posting any interaction with them. Seriously... open an IM window with yourself and cyber-masturbate. Pointless.

I suppose this rather ruins any enjoyment that I might otherwise get out of a scene. When the act involves people with actual writing ability, who are willing to pay attention to what's going on and perform in a manner that would actually be physically possible, though... it can be a great deal of fun, though most don't seem to want to put any effort into it.

I agree, Azrael! I have had a few offers from some people who don't understand how to make it interesting... I guess, if someone can create that world and allow you to get immersed in it to some degree, then that's fun. It's all just for fun and variation for me. Ugh, I hate being home for the summer, I want to go back to school! Real life tickling is more exciting for me as well, but you are all right, cyber tickling is a good way to stifle some needs. 😉

I don't mind the odd cyber here and there, but nothing beats the real stuff!!! :devil2:

Well, I like talking about it... hearing about what we want to happen, telling someone what I'd like to do...letting my imagination run away with me... but not in the sense that I'm really DOING it on the screen... Get it? I like talking about different scenarios and what would happen... I like that A LOT.... but the other sometimes feels a little awkward for me... i guess it comes with time...just my feeling on it, to each his own... of course, I'd much rather be experiencing it HANDS ON.... :bouncybou

Kinda wish I could experience it myself hands on lol.

...meh, it's hit or miss with people. Many people won't put in the effort. I joined the internet ages ago, and was big on writing and roleplaying due to my love of fiction on the old newsgroup days (I'm only 24, I was a young prodigy amongst older folk apparently... ^.^).

It's kind of dissapointing really. It's sad because it's not just with the role of the ticklers, but the role of the ticklee as well. People are just lazy, and it's sad because two really good roleplayers can make cyber almost as entertaining as reading the stories here on this forum... I dare say maybe even more interesting than that.

It's no fun though, when one side is a heck of alot more detailed than the other. It pains me whenever I've tried to create a scenario I would emply in a story, and basically get one... or even two word responces. Maybe they're enjoying themselves, maybe they aren't.

Oh well... you never know. You might get lucky and find an awesome cybermate who isn't ashamed of what he does and finds a mental satisfaction that goes beyond just the limitations of 'cyber'. Some people can develop a connection through roleplay, they can become that character in their minds. It's a beautiful thing when it happens... horribly ugly when it doesn't.

Cest le vie.

Cyber tickling can be truly exquisite...

...as many of you have mentioned, done with the right people. I've been fortunate occasionally on this forum during instances when the lady 'lee has actually made an effort to "get into" the play session with me...in other words, my personal style and attitude and syntax actually mattered to her, or so she seemed to be acting. And while real-life tickling episodes for me lately haven't been exactly frequent, I don't cyber tickle BECAUSE I don't get to tickle in real life...it's really almost an apples-and-oranges thing: both real-life tickling and cyber tickling are fruits, but with different tastes to suit different moods and needs at the time. I think the most important thing, personally, to make EITHER type of tickling episode the most worthwhile and stimulating for both parties, of course, is to consider the 'lee's needs and feelings and kinks and whims first and foremost, catering to them in such a way that she can extract the maximum effect from the experience. Simply put, if she's not having fun, the 'ler shouldn't be, either. I easily agree with anyone who finds cyber tickling enjoyable and have no qualms with people that don't. Everyone find what works for them and, if you can find a partner to go along with you, more power to ya. :2poke:
