My dad used to practice judo (not professionally, haha) and he loved play-fighting with my mom. It was super common on weekends.
He had all sorts of ways to launch his tickle attacks. For example, he’d hold both of her arms above her head with one hand and tickle her with the other; or he’d hold her wrists and tickle her belly with his mouth; or pin her down in different ways, often using his legs too.
Even though he’s not exactly a tickler, he’s one of the best “amateurs” I’ve ever seen when it comes to do the ticking, especially compared to other family members and friends.
I’ve been his tickle victim plenty of times too, and speaking more analytically, he really pays attention to details and has fun, skillful techniques.
Up until my teenage years, I saw him playing around and tickling my mom many times, often holding her down while doing it. Other times, I wasn’t in their room, but I could still hear them from mine or from the hallway.
My mother has a very charismatic and continuous laughter, which is amazing to watch, but always says that she abhors tickling due to lack of breathing.
She's extremely ticklish allover, but sides/waistline tickling and belly raspberries are her main kryptonites.
