I think losing Futurama was somewhat out of their control. Their rights to run the show were expiring and Comedy Central picked it up to make new episodes (eventually).

But yeah. I want some of those old shows back, even if it's just reruns. Space Ghost, Brak and Sealab 2021!

Dunno what you're watching, but in this house we can't get to the DVR fast enough (I'm up at Oh-my-GOD o'clock to get to the gym, I ain't stayin' up 'til midnight even for my boyfriend Brock Sampson 😉 )

Venture Bros. and Frisky Dingo, while totally, ass-kickingly funny and well-animated, are only on once a week, leaving picky bears sniffing disdainfully at travesties like that abomination Squidbillies, Assy McGee, Xavier Renegade Freakshow, and the ultimate festering, maggot-riddled cherry on top of this refuse sundae, the loathesome Tim and Eric Disgusting Vomit Great Turd. The loss of Futurama was indeed, beyond their control, but a crippling blow to an excellent lineup. I realize that there are "Big Picture" issues with licensing and copyright and all the legalese mumbo-jumbo that none of the viewers gives a damn about. What we want is to be entertained, and these hacks are putting on any cheap-ass production they can get their hands on, ruining hours of what used to be quality entertainment. Like that 12-ounce Mouse afterbirth, drawn by psychotic four and five year olds, and written and directed by some fucktastic botard high on wayyyyyyyyyyy too much LSD. There are hundreds of awesome anime that they could choose over this tripe they're airing. So yes, you made a couple of very valid points, Ms. Thang, but overall, you fail. The rest of the week suffers tragically. Sends me back to the History Channel and Comedy Central time and again. I'd rather watch C-SPAN than some of that crapola.

The people responsible for those wretched excuses for animation need to die in a septic tank, choking on their own bodily wastes. Let the punishment suit the crime, I say.

Tim and Eric are gods among men! I love Tom Goes to the Mayor as well as the Awesome Show Great Job. Xavier Renegade is the show with the snake hand and the backward legs, yes? I really like that one, especially the one where he tries to solve the case of the kidnapped babies. Then there's the live-action one that takes place at a hospital I think? I've only seen about 2 episodes of that but it was pretty hilarious.

I love a lot of the older shows, heck I have Space Ghost: Coast to Coast on DVD. But I also enjoy most of the new stuff. Assy McGee is the only one that I can think of that I don't like.

I also don't think a lot of the new shows are really all that funny. I liked Space Ghost, Sea Lab (especially the seasons before Harry Goz, who voiced Captain Murphy, Happy Cake oven anyone, passed away), ATHF, Brak, Home Movies, Tom Goes to the Mayor, Harvey Birdman. Robot Chicken, Tim and Eric and Boondocks are the only current shows I find all that entertaining, at least compared to my past favorites. Hopefully they'll come back around. I was also always a fan of the late night anime, FLCL, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Serial Experiments Lain, Cowboy Bebop, etc. I miss those days.
