Damn Mov. Need Help!!! Sos!!

Got a delema here.Got 2 clips stored in my files.When i downloaded them i didn't notice they are in MOV. (GOD I HATE MOV). Anyway i watched the clips...not worth keeping and i want to delete them BUT when i try to do that a banner pops up saying i can't because its being used by another program.I've tried everything i know to get these clips deleted..shut all programs down i could...they still wont go away.Any thoughts??

I'm almost positive quicktime's got something to do with the problem

If you haven't restarted your computer you should do so. A restart will kill anything that is using the files. If you have performed a restart and that failed you have an interesting issue and we will need to go through some work arounds (Safe Mode deletion, program to delete it before Windows boots up, etc).

VERY WEIRD...BEEN STUCK IN MY FILES A COUPLE DAYS.Turned the comp on and off over those days and nothing happens...today it works.....thanks!
