Damsels in distress in TV, movies (and feet)

Headless Horseman (2007)

Sci Fi Channel's modern version of the headless horseman tale has 2 damsels just before the 1:30 mark, Lizzie (Coren) has her head in a stock like device and Ava (Mozo) has her hands bound with big rope up over her head to a tree.
A bit of struggling by Ava and pleading to cut her loose as the headless horseman approaches. Not much emotion from Lizzie as she seems to be in shock. They are freed just in time to escape the horseman.

Keller- Teenage Wasteland (2005) aka Out of Hand

In this Italian/German/Austrian coproduction, bored teens Paul and Sebastian decide to kidnap the beautiful Sonja (Rocchetti), a liquor store clerk who catches them shoplifting early in the film. They follow her home and gain access to her building. 22 minutes in, after spying on her as she masturbates atop a washing machine, Paul (who gradually reveals himself to be the more sadistic of the two) makes his move: he accosts her and knocks her out with a blow to the head.
Wearing a red dress, Sonja awakens in a remote warehouse. She's bound with cable ties to a chair, with her hands behind her back and her ankles bound to the chair legs. She's also cleave gagged with a gray cloth. Sebastian removes the gag after a little over a minute, and that's the last we see of it, but she remains bound for most of the rest of the film. She is shown on many occasions; I've listed only the most noteworthy scenes below.
0:28 -- While struggling in vain to escape, she tips over the chair. The boys return and set the chair upright again.
0:32 -- She can't resist the call of nature and is forced to urinate.
0:36 -- She decides to scream and receives a firm handgag from Sebastian.
0:55 -- She awakes to find Sebastian caressing her bare leg. She asks for a blanket, and Sebastian accommodates her, but Paul returns and will have none of it. She requests a bathroom break, and this time the boys untie her ankles and lead her outside with her hands still tied behind her. Sebastian is forced to assist; we see her white panties followed by waist-down nudity. When the boys turn away to give her privacy, she tries to make a run for it. Paul tackles her, knocks her out with another blow to the head, and carries her back to the warehouse. As the boys retie her ankles, we see that the top of her dress has fallen open.
1:06 -- Paul is shown fondling Sonja's bare breasts. Sebastian joins him momentarily but is clearly conflicted.
1:14 -- A would-be rescuer discovers Sonja, but Paul gets the drop on him before he can free her. Male interference for the next few scenes as the guy (whom Paul eventually kills) is tied up next to her.
1:25 -- Having developed a sympathetic relationship with Sonja, Sebastian decides to free her. Paul shoves him aside and prepares to rape her, but Sebastian knocks him out and unties Sonja. She kisses him, and the film ends with them lying together naked after making love.
By the way, She is bound on screen for about 34 minutes.

Killer's Delight (1978) aka The Sports Killer

This is a low-budget B movie from the 70-s dealing with a serial killer who enjoys breaking the bones of his victims. There are three victims bound and gagged scenes. At minute 31 Kay (Kelly Sils) has been kidnapped and kept in the psychos garage. She is gagged with white tape, her hands bound behind her back and a thick rope around her neck presumably going to her bound hands (not shown). She will be seen in brief shots at minutes 45 and 75.
At minute 40 two hitchhikers fall prey of the killer. In the most disturbing scene brunette Wanda (Sandy Serrano) is seemingly tied to the seat of his van but her binds are not seen. He rips her blouse and her breasts are in full display. She is gagged with white tape. Her screams effectively muffled as he starts breaking her fingers and her right arm. Blonde Sheila is laying on her side on the van with her hands bound behind with rope around her waist. She is also gagged with white tape also trying her best to scream.

MaGang Hotel aka Hotel M- Gangster's Last Draw (2006)

Korean comedy where Hotel manager (Kim) and chambermaid (Park) are involved in antics with gangster types in their hotel. Shutting the water off during showering, putting EXLAX in their food, etc etc.
In retaliation, both they and the hotel staff are buried to their necks. Then they are heavily tied upside down (wrists behind). The ladies have rope around thighs to prevent their skirts from falling down.
Later, Kim is tied to an office chair. Hands behing, rope around upper body, knees, ankles and cleave gagged with a black cloth. Maid Park is bound up on the roof wrists behind, rope around upper body.
Bit of humour: Kim fancies the lead actor (macho scrapper/shy with women type). She gets rip roaring drunk and appears to pass out on a bed with her shirt unbuttoned and the guy attempts to do the buttons up when she comes to, stops him and gets passionately affectionate. This gets replayed in her release, as he notices her shirt was unbuttoned whilst she tied and attempts to fix, with same results.

Hitman (2007)

Blink and you'll miss it shot around the 45m mark, a fleeting flashback shows Kurylenko suspended by her wrists, apparantly naked, about to whipped. Lasts no more than 2 seconds.
In the unrated dvd version there is about 30 seconds of her tied and being whipped

Changeling (2008)

Christine Collins (Jolie) is taken to a mental institution by Los Angeles police as she is becoming a liability, her hands are cuffed in front as this happens.
Later Christine befriends another woman, Carol Dexter (Amy Ryan) wich later tries to protect her from the doctors, as a punishment she is strapped to a bed and she receives electric shocks.
In another scene Christine is also strapped to a bed and is about to receive electric shocks, but the procedure is stopped in the nick of time.
Both Ryan and Jolie are gagged by a medical device when they are strapped.

In Plain Sight 01x11

Mary is ambushed and chloroformed by 2 men. At about 20 minutes she is shown waking up and sitting in a chair that's up against a post. Her hands chained over her head to the post. She is hot and sweaty. She gets hotter and sweatier because every time the bad guys leave her alone, being a modern sort of damsel, she writhes vigorously seeking to escape her chains. There are several scenes throughout the ep of her struggling and writhing to escape her chains, managing to do so just before the bad guy executes her.

Kiss Or Kill (1997)

Near the end of this Australian thriller, her character-the better half of a young outlaw couple-is shown lying in the back seat of a stolen sport-utility vehicle being driven by her boyfriend, with her hands tied in front. Later when he arrives at their remote hideout, he carries her over his shoulder inside and ties her ankles together with a cord he then runs around the flue pipe of a pot-bellied stove. She trips and falls onto the floor as she hops after him as he leaves. Later, after she tries to douse him with gasoline and set him afire during a sleepwalking episode (a flashback from seeing this done to her mother), he ties her wrists together above her head to the headboard of their bed. She is not gagged. While her feet aren't tied, she is barefoot. As if this wasn't enough, she and her boyfriend are awakened by the police, who arrest them. The cops untie her from the bed. However, while still clad only in her underwear, Ms. O'Connor then has her wrists handcuffed behind her back and is made to kneel on the ground (next to her boyfriend) while a police car is brought up. All in all, during this second scene, Ms. O'Connor spends a good deal of time in bondage (several minutes) and is barefoot throughout.

The 10th Kingdom (2000) 2nd Part From 8 (miniseries)

At the beginning of the third (correctly second) episode Virginia has been captured by the trolls and is secured to a large wooden chair by metal bands around her wrists and ankles. When she awakens from her swoon she looks down at her stomach, where she sees the words "Troll Toy" painted. Hmm, not good. She looks at the fireplace where three trolls have heated a pair of meal sandals to a red hot temperature. "You don't have to use them," Virginia says. "I'll talk!" A troll replies, "Torture first, talk later!" (an afternoon broadcast in the UK did not include the dialogue about torture or the words on her stomach). Before things get really ugly, she's rescued by Wolf, although after their previous meeting she is initially reluctant to leave with him.
this could be a great foot torture, but it is a fairy-tale . But still very nice scene, one of my most fauvorite barefoot scenes

Hostel 1 and 2

Hostel 2: At the 46:30 mark, The first girl captured, Loran (Heather Matazzaro),is ambushed with a sack over her head, then knocked out with a blow. She waked up hanging upside down, chained by her bare feet. She's completely naked with a cloth gag in her mouth. There are numerous closeups of her face and upper half as well as one of her hands which have been chained behind her back and one which pans down the chain she's suspended from to her bare feet. Also one full length shot at the start of the scene. An incredible scene but unfortunately she meets a very grisly end.
At the one hour mark, there's a group bondage scene with a several girls (Karen Davidsen, Tereza Mandic-Listikova, and Bijou Phillips) tied up, hands behind, and cleave gagged. Davidsen and Mandic-Listikova are the producer's assistants by the way. Bijou is taken out of the cell & cuffed to a beautician's chair, still cleave gagged, and an old make-up woman begins to clean her up a bit & starts to paint her nails. After being ungagged, Bijou then bites the tip of the woman's nose off (!), grabs the keys to the cuffs, & escapes. She is recaptured shortly after.
At the 1: 11 :00 mark, Laura German is shown chained to a chair & hooded. The hood is removed & we see her cleave gagged with a white cloth. This scene alternates with scenes of Bijou cuffed to her own chair in another part of the house with a cloth sack over her head, wearing a racy outfit. When the bag comes off we see that she's been gagged with a black ballgag. Then the scene goes back to Laura. Her gag is removed and she almost succeeds in talking her way out of the situation, only to be knocked out.
We are now at around the 1: 15: 50 mark. More scenes of Bijou, still secured to her chair & ballgagged. She is injured with a circular saw cutting into her head but apparently survives (we see her bandaged up later on, bonds removed).
After Bijou's scene ends, we see Lauren has been regagged & re-chained to the chair, at around the 1: 19: 30 mark. Her bondage scene ends at around the 1: 22: 45 mark.

The Pet (2006)

In the opening sequence, of this otherwise forgettable movie, a naked woman (Jane Steele) is seen with her ankles tied and cinched with rope. She is suspended upside down to be weighted. Three men, who sell women in the “global slave market”, are taking care of business by tying her wrists over her head while suspended. One man holds the rope to her wrists while another brands her in the butt with a hot iron.

Wolf Creek (2005)

Chilling Naturalistic Horror movie about 3 tourists (2 female, 1 fella) in the Australian outback who fall foul of an evil Crocodile Dundee. About 50 minutes in they are secretly drugged, and fall asleep. Cut to Magrath who comes to in a shed, her wrists are tightly bound palms together in front of her and her ankles tied, both with black plastic ties and there is a cloth gag between her teeth. As realization dawns she pulls the gag free then struggles and tests her bonds,even attempting to open the door and escape while bound. Lighting in this scene suggests a full day passes before she finds a shard of glass on the floor and cuts herself free with it.
Magrath is wearing grey combats and a blue t-shirt, no shoes.
On escaping she follows the sound of screaming and sees Morassi in a corrugated iron building, she is wearing nothing but a bloodstained shirt, her hands bound around the back of a metal post. Her captor is torturing her both mentally and physically while she begs him to stop.
When Magrath creates a diversion the man cleve gags Morassi and goes to investigate. Magrath enters the shed and tries to calm her now hysterical friend but is forced to hide when the man returns. While he taunts Morassi some more she grabs his gun, shooting him. She unties Morassi's hands but Morassi struggles to remove her gag.
I would add that the caveat that this second scene has an unpleasant and sadistic nature that may not be to everyone's taste

John Doe 01x15

In the last 10 minutes, killer removes her from a cage and she has her hands bound in front of her with thick rope. He takes her to a metal ladder and proceed to tie the rope on her hands to the ladder. As he bends down to tie her feet, she manages to remove one hand and stab him with his knife. She manages to free her other hand and proceeds to hide. He then finds her and ties her hands in front again. He then goes to her feet and binds tehm to a hoist. She is hoisted up so that she is swinging upside down. John Doe arrives and manages to save her in time.

Les quatre Charlots mousquetaires (1974) aka The Four Charlots Musketeers

In this French comedy movie, we are treated to one scene that will be of interest to somebody. At about 59 minutes in, a female with white skin and dark hair is delivered to a tormentor in what appears to be an inquistion type of setting. The scene lasts about 3 minutes. The female is being escorted to a torture chair that will hurt the person once they sit in it. Unfortunately the trick is sprung before the female sits in it, so instead she is taken to a X frame rack. She is put on the rack face down and the tormentor freaks out and then she is put on it right side up. In the scene the female is wearing a long sleeved blouse and long skirt but is barefoot. She is attached to the rack, this time facing up and she is never really tortured but plays along with some fake torture. (The tormentor does not realize that his assistants are not actually there to help him.)
There are pretty much only two camera angles: first at a distance showing her lying on the rack and then one where it shows her face. This scene is not a particular favorite of mine because the damsel is fully clothed, there is no real stretching, and the method of restraint is simple nooses tied around the limbs.
One side note: foot bondage guys will be delighted to see one very nice closeup of her bare right foot being menaced in a playful manner by the tormentor. The rope around the foot is clearly seen. He says something to her but I don't speak French. He wiggles one of her toes while saying something about a petite something.

Lexx 02x02

The last episode for the Zev character. She's to be operated on by an evil doctor who is trying to gain control of the LEXX. Zev (Habermann) is beautifully strapped down with bindings on wrists, ankles and chest, and a metal band around her forehead. As the evil doctor begins operating on her the camera moves around her lightly-clad and barefoot self. There is struggling and eventually - in spite of being warned by his assistant - the surgeon goes too far and Zev turns into a great monster. She always had some reptilian blood, you see! And that is the last we see of Zev.

Malevolence (2004)

This otherwise unremarkable indie horror film features numerous enjoyable bondage scenes. The film opens with a cute teenager (Mia Lotringer) tied up in a barn. Wearing a blue shirt, she's convincingly bound with her hands above her head, and the first shot reveals that her bare feet are "barely" touching the ground. She screams and struggles as her kidnapper approaches her with a knife. Unfortunately, she does not survive, though we're spared any visible gore. The scene contains male interference in the form of a young boy who has also been kidnapped, but he is never in the same frame.
16 minutes in, young mother Samantha Harrison (Samantha Dark) and her teenage daughter Courtney (Courtney Bertolone) are carjacked by a bank robber. Nice shot of Courtney handgagged as the carjacker orders her mother into their van.
21 minutes in, we see Samantha and Courtney bound and gagged with duct tape, hands behind and ankles together. Courtney soon manages to free herself, but she's no sooner removed her mother's gag when the kidnapper takes notice and forces her to make a run for it. One more shot of Samantha struggling as the kidnapper runs after her daughter.
31 minutes in, we see mom again, much as we left her. More of the robbers show up, and Samantha is quickly handgagged and then tape-gagged once again when she starts to plead for her freedom -- not a good move for our hapless robbers, karmically speaking, given that they've chosen to hole up with a serial killer and Samantha's the only one who knows it. She's finally ungagged at the 51-minute mark, and untied a couple minutes after that.
Finally, 61 minutes in, Samantha and Courtney have been recaptured by the killer. This time, Samantha's been tied identically to the first victim, and she struggles as the killer drags Courtney in and releases her from a burlap sack. (There's a single shot of Courtney's hands duct-taped behind her back.) This time it's mom who gets free first, and she administers a blow to the killer that puts him out of commmission long enough for both women to escape.

Slaughter (2009)

This is one of the 8 new After Dark Horrorfest films just released on video. In it Faith (Amy Shiels) moves in with her friend Lola on a pig farm. The opening scene of the movie is poorly shot with the video blurring in and out, but we see Amy being dragged by her wrists through the field onto a dock. Her wrists are bound in front, she's in blujeans and is barefoot. On the dock Lola's father is seen tying Amy's ankles together with rope , the end of which is tied to a cement block. He then pushes her off the dock.
Fastforward to the 55 minute mark where we see basically the same scene happening again. This time as we see Faith struggling to free herself underwater, dad gets knocked out by Lola and Faith is saved or so she thinks! She awakens at the 58 minute mark only to find her jeans and top have been removed. We get a great pan view of her starting with her barefeet which have been tied to one end of a butchering table with her hands tied over her head to the other end. There are several great views from the side as Lola puts a navel ring on her. She then proceeds to pull her wisdom teeth out, briefly blindfolding her in the process.
Finally, around the 69 minute mark, Amy begins to free herself. We get a nice view of the bottoms of her feet as she finally frees them. Her hands remain bound for another six minutes of so until she gets help freeing herself and makes a run for it.
So the total scene runs about 20 minutes. No gag but a great barefoot bondage scene.

Leverage 01x05

"Ellen Clark" [Mulford} is the kidnapped wife/mother of a father-and-son team forced to rob a bank in order to pay the ransom for her return.
About 50 minutes in [with ads], she's glimpsed in the back seat of the kidnappers' SUV. A bandana serves as a tight cleavegag, and her wrists are firmly bound in front with duct tape. She's able to open the back door and fall out of the vehicle, but this only prompts one of her abductors to grab an ankle and drag her through the dust. The dirty, but unbloodied, damsel is soon saved, and there's nice quick close-up of her face as her rescuer removes her cleavegag. The scene lasts about a minute, and "Ellen's" attire consists of a dirty green blouse and pedal pushers.

Medium 04x09

Sarah is seen bound and gagged in closet around 12'mark. Blonde girl goes over and opens the closet to reveal Sarah. Blonde has a shackle on one ankle that is chained off to a wall. After they talk, she replaces the gag as the captor enters the basement. No gag for blonde, and both are barefoot.
There is a quick flashback at the 31' mark of Sarah bound and gagged.
At the 37' mark, both are ungagged and have one ankle shackled the wall. Both are just talking before they get loose.

Medium 03x19 and 04x03

03x19-The killer opens the garage door and enter the storage room as she stops screaming. We then see her face as he walks past her. He then picks her up and carries her to the freezer. We see that she is wearing jeans and her barefeet are duct taped together. We see him put her into the freezer and shut the lid. He then fills the freezer with water.
this could be great barefoot scene, but we can hardly seen her bare feet
04x03- Sometime around the 40' mark, we see her as she is lying in the trunk of a car. She is tape gagged with her hands duct taped together in front of her chest. She is wearing a red party dress. Several seconds long.

Taken in Broad Daylight (2009)

Canning portrays real-life kidnapping victim Anne Sluti, abducted from a Nebraska shopping mall in 2001. At about eleven minutes into the two-hours-with commercials edit, she's shown being hustled out of the stolen SUV her captor drove off with her in. The baddie duct-tapes her wrists behind her, blindfolds her with a gray cloth and sadistically offers to let her go if she can free her hands. She almost manages it, however, rubbing the tape against the barbed wire of a fence she stumbles into.
Then at about eighteen minutes, she's shown being driven in the SUV again, this time belted into the seat with her hands behind. She complains about her wrists still being tied and the kidnapper responds by trying to wipe the blood off her face. During the ensuing struggle he loses control of the vehicle which lands on its passenger side in a water-filled ditch. Once he climbs out, she begins crying for help as the water rises; there's one good shot from above of her struggling as she's nearly submerged.
At 27 minutes her captor is shown leading her along a dirt road by a chain locked around her neck. She's barefoot and complains about the discomfort caused thereby.
Finally, at about 52 minutes, there's a sequence of her stretching across the floor of a mountain cabin, still barefoot with her left ankle chained (although to what isn't shown), reaching for a phone to call for help.

Saving Grace 01x09

In a delicious sequence beginning at the start of the episode and continuing for about its first twelve minutes, Grace (Hunter) is shown nude, lying face down in an upper-half spreadeagle, secured to a bed by handcuffs at each wrist with another pair shackling her ankles together. When her phone rings her partner in the consensual encounter doesn't release her right away, causing her to blurt out that she needs to answer the call promptly because she's a cop-which causes him to beat a hasty retreat, leaving her shackled. Her heavenly mentor Earl is in no more of a hurry to free her when he shows up, resulting in Hunter putting in a total screen time of more than seven minutes before the cuffs come off.
