How much is sending your initial message due to the fact they're turned on by tickling? If you disliked everything else about a girl but she was turned on by tickling, would you still message her? Or, would you be interested in "getting to know them as a whole" if the tickling tidbit wasn't mentioned? Balancing a fetish out can be difficult for some.

As for lack of response, it's all about the pictures. If you don't have any, good luck! While there are some people that say "it's not about the looks", surveys show especially in online dating that it's primarily about attraction (even if initial or slight), especially since you aren't meeting this person in real life. Maybe your "match %" is >90% and you have tons in common by the profile, but if there's no attraction, there's little hope.

9 times out of 10, if I have no interests with the person outside of tickling, I won't message them. But usually, the person I message has similar interests. As for if I bring up tickling right away, it depends. Sometimes I bring it up within the first message because I get so little responses, I don't want to wonder what would have happened if I mentioned it earlier or not. Other times, I wait, but get the same response. It's not the only thing I bring up. If the girl has, "I liked to be tickled" in her profile, I'll bring that up as interesting or intriguing, then ask her about something else in her profile.

But I agree, it is about pictures and attraction. I have pictures up. Good ones, but I guess they're not that into me. Bummer.

Following up the above, I agree that "you want to attract what you like". I love tickling, but I'm really not into "the lifestyle", so it seems to me that OKC would be a better bet, with tickling being treated as a fun little fetish in the hope that you will find a woman who looks at it about the same way. No doubt there are TMF ladies who could be good partners, and I am in communication with a few whom I hope to meet. Well I would hope the objective of this thread is to help people find a way to not make tickling as taboo as it is received by people. That and I would like a girl to be worried more about "oh my god this guy wants me to laugh A LOT!" And less about "this guy is creepy and just wants to fuck me OMG it's so annoying". Tickling is (to me) a gentle way to warm each other up, and I get a bigger thrill out of surprising a girl by tickling her between the legs.

In summary....I want it to make life more fun.

I'm not worried that "OMG I want to lik your toesss!!!" becomes successful on OKC because it won't. I'm not even sure it would work on TMF. In either case I would prefer to take a more low-key approach. I could mention tickling, but not as the be-all and end-all of the relationship.

I've seen the best results from OKC over any other "dating" service, even Fetlife. I just actually started a relationship with a girl I met on okc. Amazing part is that she didn't even fill out any of the sex related questions. So, I was under the impression she was not kinky in the slightest. so my last post in another thread called to mind a specific fact on why tickling is not popular with people....

This obsession of ours is dubbed a tickling FETISH, but places no importance on PLEASURE. Yea, people might get aroused by tickling, but there's probably always the other side of the coin where the other person being interacted with has no idea why you're tickling them, what it does, how it can be arousing/amusing, and thinks maybe this tickling bullshit is just your way of torturing them without leaving a trace.
