Hey, I'm about to start coloring a picture I drew, but for the background I want a picture.

I want the Imperial symbol and the Rebel Alliance and/or the New Republic symbols.

Does anyone have a large picture of them or know where I can find one? Seeing has how its going to be the background for some of these pictures, it would help that its pretty big or would fill in the background space, in which the dimensions of the picture are 450 in width and 582 in height (although the character will be covering most of the symbol).

Ok, so this really doesn't have much to do with your knowledge, but you could probably get them faster than I could.

Oh, the colored versions please, no black and whites. Also, if you could find ones that have a background behind the symbol (such as black behind the Imperial symbol) then that would be even better. Thanks. ^^

Well, heres the fruits of my labor. My thanks to Ann to for providing the linkage to requested symbols. ^_^

Well, I started coloring this one yesterday and ended yesterday. About midway through the coloring process I noticed that my choice of colors (which were purely coincidental) starting looking like the color motiffs that make up the character Mara Jade. A coincidence, but a happy one. Also, you'll notice (though it's obscured) the Imperial symbol as the background.

I thought that the color of it went well with the other colors and the design worked for this picture. I'm not sure however if I intend to keep this character as a rogue Jedi, or a Sith. I'm leaning more towards her being a Sith, but given future characters (some of whom will definitely be Jedi), she may become neutral or even allign herself with the Jedi. We'll have to wait and see.

Basically she's being hesitant to deliver a death blow to an enemy she's bested. As a Sith, to hesitate is very telling of her character. Why does she hestitate? More to come...

I have a question:

In the expanded universe how does Palpatine die eventually? I know that the Force explosion that consumed the Eclipse wasn't the end of him, just the body. From what I understand he later got his head chopped off (in what was another clone body), but because he had no clone bodies left he just became a wandering spectral, almost corpreal version of his former self. Is that really the way he went out, and what has become of him now? The details were always sketchy for me and I can't seem to find any answers beyond a certain point.

To know knowledge he's died three times (if you include ROTJ) and came back a fourth.
