Jail cells in Arkansas holding 26 death-row inmates opened for three minutes after a guard pressed the wrong button. They stayed in their cells and no one was injured, but the guard was fired the same day. Several doors remained between the inmates and the outside world, so there was no way the public was in danger after this happened. The button had a cover, but the prison is considering more safeguards.
Glad the guard was in a prison and not in a missle silo somewhere
