Bob, lying on his deathbed, motioned for his wife to come close to him.
"Dear, before I die, I must confess to you some terrible things that I've done," he said.
"There is no need to do that," she said.
"Yes, I must," he said. "I can't die with these awful things on my conscience. 10 years ago, I had sex with your best friend, Helen. Five years ago I began an affair with our minister's wife, which continued until last year. And just this last month, worst of all, I had wild, passionate sex with your sister."
"I knew all of that," said his wife. "Why do you think that I poisoned you?"
