Deff Jam: Vendetta Sucks.

Is it just me or is Deff Jam vendetta the worst exuse for a wrestling video game evermad. The number of moves they do suck, I've pounded on guys for 3 solid minuets amd still lost, even after hitting them with my big move, and the tag team has got to be the worst, even worse. In tag Team you have no controle over when the Computer runs in to help you. You end up with all four guys in the ring almost the entire fight, and if you get into a jam you can't tag in your partner because he's fighting one of the other guys. The Story mode isn't bad, it sort of makes me think of a VanDam movie, like Lionhaert, and the graphics are realy cool. Unfortunetly it isn't enough to keep me playing.

i haven't played it yet. But from the reviews i've heard online and tv shows about it they all say its a very well Done wrestling game thats Done right for a change. so since i have a playstation 2 i'll prob at least rent it first give that a shot.

But prob why you didn't like is because

1. you HATE rap and like rock or some other form of music

or

2. you hate Wrestling Games and Hate even more when rappers are added into a wrestling Game

It's true I don't like rap...

...but I can turn down the music so I don't hear it. As for wrestling or wrestling games... hahaha... check out the "What should happen after wrestlemania XX" thread. I like wrestling more then I hate rap, and the oprotunity to play a game were the idea is to beat up hard core gangsta rappers sent chills up my spine. If anything the game is racist because it makes Briggs (the only white guy you can use in the story mode) crappy. I whent through it on easy with Tank (an asian guy) but the other 3 guys get beat like dog on medium. Regardless of all other factores, a bad tag team option is still a bad tag team option. SmackDown: Here Comes The Pain is still the best Wrestling game out there... WORD LIFE!!!

Actually, to appreciate that game, you have to enjoy listening to hip hop. Also, the game engine is better than that boring, smackdown engine.

It is, without a doubt, the greatest wrestling game in Creation.

A bold starement, especially from some one who has no love for rap or bling-bling. But...this game is so jaw-droppingly good it doesn't matter. For one, it's fast: Faster than the new Raw by a mile, smoother than Smackdown by a long shot. The range of moves are massive, and quite often, hilarious: Key pressures and rock-bottoms as stamdard moves? Yes please, I'll take plenty of those thankyou...

The difficulty of the game is insane, which is just how I like it, because when you get those (totaly over the top) finishing moves off and *finaly* put your opponent down...satisfaction 🙂

As for the tag-team element: Yes, the pc AI sucks in that respect, but in all fairness you only ever play TT when you've got m8's around. And then it gets even better...

Are you crazy ?

This game is not the best game ver mad (to date) it can't be. First of all I don't have to like Rap to like a wrestling game. I like John Cena as a wrestler, but I don't like rap. Why is that ? BECAUSE HE IS A GOOD WRESTLER!!! The moves are limited, and as I pointed out befor, I have pouded guys into the canvas for 6 minuets, naild them with my big move, and still lost. That is not a good wrestling game. It is EASport feable attemt to make up lost revanew because the WWE told them to take a hike.

lmao, get it right. It takes everything good about wrestling and leaves out the crap that WWE decided it needed: ie, five-minute matches that ended with a single finisher. I have *no* problems with a game that's more like a hard-core WCW and less like a Brock v Lesnar grudge match (just watched that, 'twas utter toss). As for limited moves...pffft. Again, I point towards the swathe of moves that each fighter has, most of them finisher-calibre in there own right. I particulaly like the Napsac....

Is it perfect? Not at all. But compaired to the other wrestling games out there, it's the top of the bunch.
