DemiSexual?

I have a question for anybody who wants to answer it.
Have you ever been described as, or felt DemiSexual.
It means you need to have a deep emotional connection with somebody before you want to have sex with them.

The thing is, I never really considered that a sexuality, more of a personality trait. I just don't have any interest in casual sex.

I ask because I'm finding it hard to connect with people on her. I had one good thing going with somebody when I had an old account, but I was going through some bad mental health stuff and fucked it up (completely my fault). Aside from that I haven't really met people who seem to actually enjoy talking to me. The problem is it takes me so long to actually make a connection with a person and most people don't want to wait. It's really rare that I just click with somebody.

I think this would pretty decently describe me.. I really don't have much innate sexual interest in other people, and it would definitely have to be a situation of real closeness before I would consider doing anything with someone. Casual sex isn't something I think I'd be comfortable with, either.

Ah, so, in a nutshell, your looking to really connect with someone and build a good level of trust and respect before moving to the next stage in a relationship with them? That's a good way to go about it but you might want to expand your horizons (aka visit other sites, visit some venues where you can mingle with people, etc etc). 😀
