While I am no longer able to go to the parties, I did make a couple of calls during the day and evening. Sounded like a ton of fun in the background. I did call gigglegirl late in the evening and it turned out she was on the receiving end of some intense tickling. It was very hard to talk. 🙂

I am glad to hear that more people made it and that the party continues on. Maybe some day I will be able to attend again.

LMAO) anyway, i too would like to thank amy(sadira) and george(ticklingfeet4fu) for all their hard work putting this together..but amy, you went to ohio state, get back closer to OHIO..LOL...also, loved running the grill...and i hope theres some baklava left...now dont get that again!

This party really has a lot to offer. And there were SO many people this time around! Really, it was a great crowd. My roomies did a GREAT job of hosting. Everything was perfect. And if something went wrong, I'd bet no one knew. 🙂

I find myself torned here that motel was the pits but the door and headboard and let's not forget that look I got from that one women in housekeeping so would it as been as much fun at a classier joint half of me wants to pick a nicer place and the other half wants to get 308 again next year, and come on how many places have a bottle open in the bathroom, granted the socks would of happened any place, I'll have to make some more toys to leave there too get them talking even more next year cause I'm hooked on MTP the host are just awesome and the people attending were all great,I'm so impressed with everyone there.

Sounds Like This Was One Heckuva Party

Well , another MTP came & went & it seems like everyone had a great time ... though I'm not surprised. I went to the MTP previous to this one & I had a blast ... great people , pretty gals , some willing & able tootsies , & LOTSA tickling! What can be better?
Oh , & speaking of all the great reasons to attend a Motown Tickle Party , George & Amy are the most gracious of hosts. They make you feel comfortable as soon as you walk through the door & make sure you have a great time. It's easy to see that they really care about this community & deserve to be thanked to no end for opening their home to tickle-lovers everywhere for a weekend (or two).
I'm sorry I was not able to attend this MTP but I'm glad everyone seemed to have a whole lotta fun. Hopefully , I'll be able to go to the next one & see everyone again. Ta-ta!

another AWESOME gathering

Yet another confirmation that all the wonderfulness everyone is hearing about MTP this past weekend is all true. As usual George and Amy left no stone unturned to ensure that a good time was had by all. It is thus no suprise that the Michigan tickling community is growing. We had a number of new attendees, several of which were "newbies" and more than one of which were ladies gracious enough to allow themeselves to be tickled senseless (as well as do some tickling of their own!). Needless to say a good time was had by all; but with George and Amy at the helm, that is not surprising!

It was so great to see old friends and make new ones! I am once again continually impressed how the tickling community is filled with so many incredibly cool people! It is without a doubt that this community will continue to grow as time goes on. Lady Sunset and I are looking forward to the spring gathering with great anticipation.

Well now that my computer is back up and running I would like to add my thoughts. Also being a newbie I was a little nervous. There are so many words I could use to describe the weekend: Blast, fantastic, amazing. But I think the two most important words I could use are comfortable and safe. I never felt unsafe at any time and the whole weekend was like getting together with a bunch of long lost friends and having a good time.

My heartful thanks to George and Amy for welcoming me into their home. They did one hell of a job with the gathering from the food on up. The effort that was made to ensure that everyone was comfortable and that things didnt get out of hand was amazing. I appreciate so much what you did and eagerly look forward to the next one. Hugs to you both and stay in touch.

Deuce... I am soooooo glad you made it. I thank you for making it all possible for me to be there. I value our friendship that we have developed. I love the idea that I am sure the maid to the motel will have alot to talk about walking in with the stocks and x-frame sitting there. Along with your drill and hammer. Not to mention the empty alcohol bottles. Too funny.

Jaymoney...I was so glad you were there with me. Even if it couldnt be for the whole time. Thank you for being my escort and being man enough to ask for directions 😀 It wouldnt have been the same without you there. I was very happy to have been able to pay off that bet. Even if you did have a little (6? 7? people) help.

Kitten and Gigglegal...Omg you two girls! What an absolute riot we had. It was awesome being able to meet and spend time with you. Lmao Giggle next time I want you to bring me an extra pair of sock just pack them in your case dont wear them... I will never forget the fun we had drinking and joking around with the guys in the wonderful 1 star room. No one believed me that there was a bottle opener in the bathroom. You all had to see for yourself. Thank goodness Deuce is a carpenter and was able to fix that headboard. You two made me feel young again. I luv ya both.

Bagelfather....Thank you so much for the flowers. That was so sweet. You are a special guy and really made me feel special.

Smiley and Prinny....Smiley: We have been chatting a long time and it was so wonderful finally getting to meet you and talk to you, even if you did instigate alot. Prinny, get rid of those nails!!! OMG *shudders*. It was awesome getting to meet you also and please stay in touch both of you.

To TickleBelly and everyone else that I havent mentioned, it was absolutely wonderful being able to meet you all after chatting with everyone.

I came home exhausted and sore but also with a ton of great memories and warm feelings. I couldnt have asked for a better weekend and look forward to the next time we get together.

What I did on my tickling vacation...

I still remember the email from Steph when she talked to George and Amy about my going to the Motown party, as she put it they almost drove off the road. Then it got better when I invited Starfires (my roommate, Mr. V) to go with me on this nearly cross country venture.

I don't know if I can truly express my gratitude to everyone there (hosts and guests) who made this a memorable time.

To our honorable hosts Amy and George you two did an amazing job as stressed as I know you were about everything and everyone being happy. You did great and it was a lot of fun. Thank you again so much for picking us up at the airport so we could afford this trip.

First off dtrell, I don't think I can out do you as bondage master, or rope quartermaster, or chief boyscout, whatever... I was happy I could show you a cool trick someone told me and it was nice having someone else there who knew the ropes so to speak 🙂 I think we should get together and do a rope demo class next time. Sure there are cuffs and such but a ler or lee should be prepared for any situation!

Sultry, kitten, Amy, and George you are all welcome for the flowers. Gigglegal honestly I forgot you were coming after I got them otherwise I would have gotten you some, so don't feel left out hon! I wanted to make it special for the ladies I had talked to online who were coming.

Natural thank you for making me laugh so much with that look of indignation of yours, and also running with the ball so to speak about working out. I promise to work out more than Starfires 😉. Also considering I only got wacked once by a struggling lee I still think I'm smarter than you 🙂

Professor and your lady sunset it was great meeting you, and that pasta dish was great. I will be working out extra hard all this week over that plus all the dishes that George and Amy worked on!

Prinny thank you for not crushing Starfires head and allowing him to back out of that situation before he got hurt.

To everyone else, good meeting you too, I have more to say on all of you but my trip report will take most of my time.

Okay now for the trip report:

Thursday 4:30am PST Starfires and I wake up and prepare for the trip to the airport. One of our vanilla roommate takes us to the airport and we leave at 5:05am PST. We arrive at the airport on time (about 5:20am PST) for our 6:20am PST departure. It is on our arrival that we have the first obstacle. The flight to Salt Lake City (then on to Detroit) had been cancelled because the engine was broken. They tried to reschedule us for an 8:50am PST flight which would bring us into Detroit at 8:30pm and then to George and Amy's by almost 11pm. I persisted in stating we had a dinner engagement at 7pm and couldn't be that late. Delta transfered us on the outgoing flight to Northwest leaving 20min later than our original flight but arriving 1 hour earlier. We would go to Minneapolis and then on to Detroit. Technically we were on standby but it was almost guaranteed. We got on, and off we went.

Having different tickets we did not seat together this flight (a whole new airline). As we walked down the isle with our carry on luggage Starfires was in seat 14E and I was in seat 24E. Starfires got the middle seat between two hot blonde women. Myself I continued down the isle until I got to my seat which was between Queen Latifa and Jabba's sister. I only say that because this woman also did not seem to have bathed for her early departure, and it was a long 3 and a quarter hour flight.

We were not given free snacks on this flight, you had to purchase them. I had brought something with me. The lady on my right was fine, but the one next to me ordered up a Han Solo popsicle.

With much stench and little fanfare we arrived in Minneapolis. I chided Starfires for his fortune in flying. We then began the long journey across the airport to our gate. Minneapolis is a large airport, I think one of the highlights of the journey through it was the Fox News Station store. I went inside and bought some conservative skewed journalism because all I had was liberal biased journalism on hand.

We then went next door to Sherpa's are us and bought one off the rack to guide us to the other side of the airport. There we found our gate and our next flight. Once again we were not sitting together. I was sitting next to two business men and Starfires was at the window with an empty middle seat waiting to be filled. Once again a hot blonde woman showed up with a low cut blouse and a pink lace bra showing. She prepared to sit next to my roommate. I could not allow him this much fortune on a flight, and besides I wanted to talk geek talk. I asked the lady if she would switch places with me and she said sure. I collected the $20 from each of the gentlemen next to me for doing them this favor and sat next to my roommate for the trip to Detroit.

We arrived in Detroit later than expected but earlier than originally planned. We got off the plane and took the train to baggage claim. I declined the offer of the service cart person on the train for chocolate frogs or jelly beans that tasted of random flavors. We got off and left the wandering wizards behind as we headed down to baggage claim. There we saw George and Amy. She was so excited to see us she grabbed George and tried to yank him toward us. After pulling his arm out of his socket they met and hugged us. George was not able to hug us we hired two baggage handlers to help move his arms around us. Starfires was kind enough to tip them.

We went to carosel 8 to get our luggage. After 10 minutes George saw our luggage had been moved. We left behind a few straggling passengers who saw the red light in their palm glow and they proceeded up into carosel while the rest of us got our bags to go on our way.

We got our bags and headed to the parking lot. We paid for parking, found the car by following the pools of water Amy walked through earlier in the garage, got in the car and off we went. So we thought... the parking validation ticket is missing! Back around going through one way traffic, avoiding senior citizens and dodging security vehicles we squeeled to a hault as George and Starfires lept from the car and ran to the machine. Hooray the ticket was there... we are off again.

Okay we left the main part of the airport but we loved it so much we got back on the freeway and passed it by again, this time going the right way. Next stop Bay City... and a long drive.

We drove... and we drove... we passed many billboards about hunting. We went through road construction where they had smiley faces on the milage counters that started out sad 🙁 at 7 miles to go but 🙂 at only 1 mile to go. People don't have a lot to do in Michigan on the roads it seems.

We arrive at the Double Tree Inn. We drive up to the sounds of angels singing and fountains flowing with melted butter as an angelic light flowed from the doors welcoming us in. They checked us in quickly and gave us warm chocolate chip cookies with walnuts for our stay (at $99 a night for 2 people).

We were then whisked up in an elevator which said howdy to us as we got on and took us to the 4th floor. We got to our room (405). Inside we found two beds as soft as heavnly clouds and laiden with 5 pillows each. They had internet access and soaps and towels for a full Roman bath inside. It was hard leaving our hotel room to go back to George and Amy's for dinner. The staff cried when we left but we told them we would be back. The angels trumpeted as we left the building.

12 blocks later we got to George and Amy's house. Gorgeous wood flooring, moldings throughout the rooms and doorways like they did when someone gave a damn about building a house for style and a place to live.

Natural and George cooked us steaks while Amy made vegtables. There was lively discussion and stories to tell. We talked about gatherins new and old and who would be there and who would not.

When ticklishkitten came home she was made an immediate victim. This seemed too well timed, was that her plan, was it our evil intension to grab her as soon as possible, did old Russian spy satelite radiation cause us to tickle her silly? No one may really know the answer to this. However you look at it, our first day was good, except for the part where Starfires got seated next to the hot babes.

Does anyone have any pointers to help lessen the nerves a bit? Also, are there single gals that go or is it more of a "couple" thing? Any advice and/or pointers would be greatly appreciated. Angel, I can understand you being nervous. This was my first gathering and I was also. You will feel better once you get there and get around people and see the respect that they show to others. The rules for the gatherings are very specific on being respectful and the concerns about safety issues. There will be people there looking out for the welfare of the attendees. This gathering had a mixture of single (both men and women) and couples. Its definitely something that should be experienced.

Angel, I'm glad to see you're willing to come with us! Where are you located, near philly? That makes it easier.

WHat you have to remember about NEST is that everyone is everyone's friend. We're about as tight as a family. No one ever gets hurt and if there's ever anyone feeling uncomfortable, there are plenty of huge, protective guys (myself included but more like fellas like AffectionateDan and MaxSpeer) who are ready to take names and kick people out of the party if things get out of hand. There's absolutely nothing to be nervous about (except knowing that you will, at some point, be strapped motionless to something and tickled totally out of your mind [unless of course you use the safe word....you pansy 😛 ]). If you need to relax a bit, you should come hang out before the party...show up early and hang out with myself and my girlfriend, and maybe TickleKitten if she comes up early enough.

As for who is single and who is not....it depends. To be honest, most of the guys there are single, about 60%, while most of the gals 80% or so, are married or otherwised attatched to someone (usually the person they came to NEST with!). It doesn't matter much so, since the significant others tend to give away their partner's worst spots, making it more fun!

Anyhow, can't wait till NEST!
