Did your childhood playing foreshadow your current kinkiness?

I used to realy tickle some of my friends when I was a kid. And even then I knew I was a tickleholic. Good thing there aren't TA meetings.

I was kind of the tickle monster for the neighborhood as a youngster, tickled friends, sister's friends, babysitters, mom's friends.

I would look up the work "tickle" in the dictionary at least once a day
I had it underlined and would check other dictionaries for more definitions and meanings. I even went to find the word "tickling" in spanish/english dictionaries, French/English, kind of funny!

I did about 4 or 5 science projects on the "response to touch" Which included a feather, a bare foot, and a blindfold

I think the tickle thing may still be with me?????????:3poke:

Hindsight being 20/20, yeah. I did some bizarre shit, even when I was very young. I am still remembering some of the stuff that I did.

Did you know there was something weird about your games, or did it seem normal to you?
It had nothing to do with games (although "dress up" sure had a certain flavor when I was by myself, lol) - I straight up did a lot of weird sexual things to myself as a kid and a teen. I tied myself up, used a belt on myself, etc. I wouldn't say it seemed normal - I was aware enough to keep it hidden - and was nervous about being caught. But it did seem natural to me...I mean, I didn't read about it anywhere. I have no idea where I got the idea to do some of the things I did - it just seemed to emerge on its own. I had no context for it though - I was brought up in a very asexual household - so it has taken me a long time to really understand myself, sexually speaking.

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!!!!!! And I knew EXACTLY why I loved it 😛 I read this, and some Goosebumps book that had a tickling scene in it, so much (at different ages obviously 😛) that they would automatically open up to the tickling pages 😛

Did anyone else read those "Where's Waldo?" books as a kid? I remember one of the scenes, I think it was a museum, where some poor sap of a security guard was stuck in a pair of stocks and a gang of hoodlums was taking turns tickling his feet.

It was awesome. But man I was self-conscious whenever I was with some friends looking over that page for that goddamn Waldo. :sherlock:

YES! Except the one I saw was a dungeon, and some guy was strapped down to a table. I think I heard somewhere that every Where's Waldo had a Waldo (of course), but it also had certain other things, and every one had someone being tickled. Could be wrong about that though...

And, yes. I was always tickling or being tickled in some way, shape, or form. I, too, was a Barbie/toy tickler. My Barbies, Troll Dolls, Disney toys, heck, even my dinosaurs were tickling each other. I would watch any scene of a movie or television show, and would read any book, with any amount of tickling in it. I was always trying to tickle or be tickled. Etc. Etc. Etc.

And yes, I also knew that there was something "off" about it, so I tried to hide my enjoyment as much as possible.
 
I think there were elements that came up, such as when I would tie up girls and tickle them as part of interrogation scenarios. Also, TMNT didn't help.
 
When my sister and I were younger we played cowboys and Indians with the neighbors.
We hid a plastic toy wagon train, then the Indians would tickle us until we revealed its location.
One time, they pretended not to find it after we had submitted and revealed its location.
We were tickled to the brink of insanity.

Later on our devilish neighbors "conditioned" us by touching one or more of the big buttons on our cowboy shirts and tickling us at the same time.
By repeating this a few times, they could tickle us, by merely touching one or more of our big buttons. They loved the control they had over us.
Even their parents loved this, and they would love to chase us around the house. We were giggling and laughing even before they touched us.
They loved tickling us so much, they even made for our birthdays, safari styled shirts and cargo pants that had big grinning buttons down the front and on all the many pockets.
My sister's laughter and my own laughter are very contagious, so they would often end up laughing more than we were.
Even though they were all tickle freaks, my sister and I loved to visit them many times in a month.
 
I guess you could say so, especially growing up in it....my sisters and brother always tickling each to insanity...I guess we had "gathering" like sessions before the term came about..yanno Saturday mornings when the parents was away, and the fun began....got used to being multiple gang tickled, which today doesn't bother me as much as once did....

Last summer for the first time in ages, all of us over a game of Twister, reminded each other of the fun we once had, and the looks on the faces of folks seeing 17 grown-ass people acting like kids again....classic
 
one of my first memories is playing a game called "tickle under the foot chase" with three girls - it was like kiss chase, in that it involved chasing, but when i caught one of the girls (they didn't try very hard to get away) they would all have to line up against the wall and get tickled on their feet - i can still remember one of them (the one who's idea it was to play the game - called jill) saying something like "it makes it easier to take it if you hop up and down" as i tickled her foot

i'm fairly sure that if this didn't actually start my fetish it certainly kicked into focus - because pretty much since then tickling is all i have ever loved

i wonder if jill (and the others) also grew up with a similar love of tickling

i also had a few 'action man' toys and i would play with them in the garden... mostly i would get beetles and worms and so on and put them in the action man's clothes and do them up so that he got tickled by them... but i would make believe that the action man was me, or i was the action man... whichever way round is right so it was me getting tickled by the giant beetle or worm and feeling very strange at the though of being in that situation (not realising at the time what the feelings were)

so it's fairly certain that those games turned me into the lunatic i am today - or maybe they were just a product of the already present fascination with tickling

my dearest tickling fantasies are still mainly unrealistic situations - giant tickling beetles, or plants - nonsense like that - possibly because i was quite solitary and didn't give or receive much real tickling and i would invent nonsensical fantasies which have stayed embedded in my branes
 
Maybe not in action for me. For me it started when I around 5 or 6 years old. I saw a vintage Popeye cartoon called "Shiver Me Timbers". In it Olive Oyl gets tied up, her shoes removed, and her feet are licked by cats. Needless to say she is instantly tickled out of her mind. Once I saw this I was hooked. Now I know why!!!
 
I remember drawing tickle torture pics when I was very young...as in "by the power of Grayskull I had the power" young. Even then I knew they were risque and would rip them into little shreds and get rid of it. I have a vague memory of ripping one up and throwing it out but then going back later to tape it together and stashing it away in a secret spot. I'm too big to get into that spot now and i can't remember if I actually went back to throw it out again. if i ever find it i'll put it up.
 
There was a kids show that played in England in the late 80's, when I was still little. I can't remember anything about it, except that one of the things they'd do was to bring people down from the audience and try to make them laugh; if they held out for long enough, they won something I guess. People would make faces and tickle with feathers and such. I'd say that's my earliest memory of knowing something was going on with me.
